I was just about to ask - I wonder how the magaheads would react to shedding sunlight on every little detail of this administration.

Mich - what might be a transgression committed by Trump that you wouldn't dismiss as just politics as usual?

I agree with what 99 may have suggested. Just pardon the fat ass. Convince Governors to pardon the fat ass of state crimes. Move on.

well, that might be a nice middle ground - pardon on the federal level, but don't stand in the way of state beef (which was simmering before Trump even became potus)...

Which probably cements Democratic control of both the Executive and Legislative branches for a decade.

The GOP cannot afford to be broken into Trump and Not Trump.

it just sucks that so many Mericans care about these rules and laws not when there's actual evidence of wrongoing, but only when they can be levied against a political opponent.

bear in mind, these are the same folks who, just 10 months ago, refused to call any first-hand witnesses so they could play the defense of "only second-hand accounts..."

Trumpers do not care about the rule of law. They care about what "law and order" is code for: protecting the status quo.

Imagine Trump (or Junior, or Jared, or whoever) beating, say, Ben Sasse in the GOP primary. What percentage of Sasse voters end up supporting Trump?

If that number is anywhere south of, like, 90%, the GOP would have no chance. It is already the minority party. It can't bleed any more votes.

we should be so much better than that as a country
