He won/earned that title twenty minutes into his tenure.
It’s all in the formula!

That Wu Tang/Martin Shkreli doc is pretty good.
It came on right after the game last night on TNT.
Wu Tang intended to create a work of fine art, with their limiting their production of that "Once upon a time in Shaolin" to just one record. And by the end of the doc, there's a pretty cool example that they did.
Also, the juror at the trial who said he was unable to be impartial because Shkreli disrespected Wu Tang LOL

Just finished the last season of Ozark.
I thought it was...fine. I guess the point is that there really is no escape for the Byrdes? I thought it was extremely ham-handed to use the PI to get Jonah to spill blood.

I've had Ozark recommended to me before, but never got into it.
I read a review on NPR the other day that didn't portray it in the most flattering light.
just in case this counts as spoilers too...

the review basically describes a "frenetic pace (that) keeps you from thinking too much about how nonsensical the plotlines have become," and that "characters often act in ways that don't make a lot of sense, mostly to move the plot from one point to another."
To me, that describes a LOT of shows, particularly crime/action/drama type shows.
and if this show is just like so many others in that regard, I dunno if it stands out enough for me to go out of the way to watch it.

that's the curse of the really great shows. no matter what they do. the finale is gonna fall short for some people.
no matter how they ended it. it wasn't going to be good enough.

The Wire is one of the few series that i felt had a great finale/series wrap up. Part of why i think it is maybe the best TV show ever.

I just started watching Better Call Saul last night. I had never watched a single episode of it prior. Just looking for something to watch. We'll see.

i loved breaking bad. i was very excited to hear they were spinning saul goodman. the show is decent. but it is no breaking bad.
decent is the best review i can give better call saul.
but to be fair to better call saul. it is so hard to spin off of the great shows. most of the time they just cannot live up to the expectations.
I thought it was...fine. I guess the point is that there really is no escape for the Byrdes? I thought it was extremely ham-handed to use the PI to get Jonah to spill blood.
but....there WAS an escape. Wendy is just too big of an egotistical psychopath bitch and Marty is too nice.
It was obvious it was Camilla, that was obvious from several episodes before the end.
Tell Omar like Marty wanted too....have Omar set up the hit. Get rid of Camilla, finish the transfer and get Omar and the FBI hooked back up per the original plan.
No need to get Ruth killed.
I hated Wendy.....she was a conniving, soulless bitch who pretending to care about her family but really only ever cared about herself. Marty knew what to do, he just wouldn't put the pants on to do it.

Stanley Tucci Searching for Italy has new episodes Sundays on CNN. Every one of them is excellent.

I found Better Call Saul infinitely more entertaining that Breaking Bad.
Probably because I didn’t have to listen to Jesse calling everyone “bitch” every 8 seconds

Not sure if Outer Range has been mentioned, but it's been pretty entertaining, kind of like Yellowstone but with a mystery/sci-fi twist. On Amazon Prime.

That wrap up montage was some of the best TV ever.
Uplifting, sad, heartbreaking.
That last shot of the bad kids closing in on Randy was tough to watch.

Killing of Ruth is garbage. Should of ended with her rising to the top.
