Put another way, first time voters in 2024 would have never seen a Republican win the popular vote! No one under 35 has seen Republicans win the popular vote twice.

So. Much. Winning. #RiggedElections.

I am more hopeful than I’ve ever been that Dobbs will be in the dictionary for the phrase Pyrrhic victory.

That may be democracy’s saving grace, even moreso than the deep irony of Rs building this terrifying authoritarian machine only to helm it with The Defendant.

Yesterday, Ohioans showed us who can stop radical Republicans from invading our privacy and curbing our rights: Voters.

How prescient of Lindsay. And, if you believe these polls, it's hard to argue with him. Imagine the down-ballot fallout if Americans don't change their minds. Democrats already have an uphill battle in the senate, but this would even put it in play. Not to mention the house. There are 18 republican representatives who are running for reelection in districts Biden won, and they only have a 5-vote advantage now. Imagine life without that stupid ____ MTG in your face, every day.

Another poll released this morning doesn't look so goodest for Trump, and largely confirms the one by AP that came out last night.

Tick tick tick, pubs. Slow-walking toward obvious disaster in 2024.

Of course, slow-walking toward obvious disaster is sort of their thing now, so.

I’m not sure it’s the BEST strategy, but “defend Donald Trump” is essentially a play that depends on Trump being completely off the board when the time comes.

Republicans need to lose and lose big. This isn’t about pivoting. The GOP was fine destroying America to retain power & they tied themselves to a ticking time bomb to do it. The consequences of their actions must be catastrophic.

I’m not sure he actually HAS the cash to pay his expected legal bills himself. We’re looking at mid-8-figures, easily, to do it right.

Make no mistake, this is Luttig begging the pubs to grab the lifeboat before 2024 becomes not just a ballot box wipeout, but the de facto death of the party, which will move EVERYTHING to the left (in that the inevitable result is that the majority will split into two wings of non-Trump, being a super progressive wing and modestly progressive wing).

Given an actual free, fair election in 2024, Trump will win in a landslide.
