Good goal.
Built up...Zardes veteran finish.
And thanks Austin Texas for the crowd. Loud and proud.

Mexico had the better half but we mighta had two of the best chances to score.

Mexico have a lot of guys from that 3-2 Concacaf US win so it's much more an A team to our B. I'm not sure the US has a single guy from that squad...maybe Zardes?

If that wasn’t on his left, that’s an easy goal.

This USMNT B team are just grinders. The A team has the technical skills, these guys just grind it out.

Mexico's been owned by the US this summer. Mexico's coach should be sweating. Our B- team just beat their A-.

Their manager will be fired tonight or tomorrow.

US has all the momentum in the concacaf area. And this was a summer without largely their A squad.

Excited to see the group start qualifying in a month or so.

Qualifying starts next month -- switching coaches in the midst of it can backfire.
( cough cough Bruce Arena )

Overall, I like our chances to finish at least top 2 in our hex -- we have some good depth -- hell one or two of these guys may crack the starting lineup.

Acosta was fantastic. Don't know if he'll squeeze in a role at CM.

Robinson might have earned a role on that back line.

Just really impressed with how they played. They've had a really impressive run over the last 15 months or so. Lone loss to the Swiss in Switzerland with a B+ squad while the Swiss had their Euro lineup out there.

US soccer ranked 10th in the world one spot behind Mexico.

Just came here to say this.

That's incredible. The best summer they've had in a long time. The depth is top notch on this team.

Have a chance at being seeded at 2022 WC as long as they qualify and it's still unknown how they will seed with more teams, but chances are looking good.

Exciting times ahead for US soccer.

If some of the top Europe teams do well in their qualifiers, we will get jumped, due to the strength of the teams they play.

On the other side of the coin, we have an easier road to win a lot of games and the Europe teams could beat up on each other.

One of the overlooked benefits of being in the top 10 of the FIFA rankings: it's easier for USMNT players to get work permits in the UK.
