What exactly is this good thing Elon is attempting to do?
"The left" as a whole doesn't hate him. Some on the left hate him because he's brainwashing the easily brainwash-able people.
What''s pathetic to me is that you accuse "the left" of being "the Sith" without realizing you're a sith yourself.

Let me guess, the rubes are going to have to buy a special access subscription to twitter to get the good stuff?

And they will get an Elon branded ball cap to wear around town so they can identify each other as part of "the club". Elon decided to go all in on the attention economy. Probably takes less focus than the space race or the automotive industry.

And remember rubes, you will get a decoder ring with your subscription. It will be considered a collector's item decades from now on ebay.

Would not at all be suprised
I mean, I wasn't literally serious - but I do think he really might be seeing how the QAnon cult grew and thinks he can do a better job. His cryptic, misleading, conspiracy-suggesting crap is eerily similar.
Looks like I wasn't the only one who noticed.

i.e. there isn't anything clearly specific here but 'do your own research' and come up with conspiracy theories and then just spam them everywhere and bing bang boom my platform keeps itself in the news!

Plus, didn’t he have to apologize for calling that cave rescue guy a pederast?

Its so nice to see a public figure choosing truth/common sense over political correctness

There a reason its called being "politically correct"
Its because its different than being correct

Hes exposing evidence of what people already believed. So it makes no sense to say he's brainwashing anyone.

Recent successes at Tesla (whatever that is) is in spite of Elon; not because of him. He gave up running Tesla once he was done naming the models S, 3, X, Y. I’m friends with many Tesla employees and Tesla owners (a sizable Venn intersection). He’s using the company as an ATM to fund his other hare-brained ideas. Just because he used his PayPal $$ to fund Tesla (Elon WAS NOT a Tesla founder, no matter how much he wants to create the impression) he thinks it’s a rinse-lather-repeat algorithm.

And since he bought tesla it has become a trillion dollar company in spite of him?

Musk fired a bunch of the workers that were unnecessary. Got rid of the former FBI attorney, got rid of the head of legal affairs (who was for censorship) and also cleaned house with the others who didn't need to be there. It's a much more efficient and appropriate team now. Facebook has done the same. All of big tech is having to pull back due to real economy showing. All that stimulus in the last two years only just delayed this moment.

Elon has 5 companies valued at over a billion. Telsa is valued at about a trillion. All of that happened in spite of him?

Pronouns is just another politically correct nonsense thing of this time period. It will go away in time. Just laugh about it while it's here.
