I can, um, identify a flaw in this plan.

I think Brady has been seriously considering retirement for a handful of years. I think he'd have retired after last year had they not won. I think with everyone coming back that team atmosphere/goal of running it back was too much to walk away from. Timing wasn't right. Timing feels right after this season.

Could be as simple as kids wanting him to retire so they can spend more time together. One comment like that is all it would take for most parents.

I have prior commitments on most of Super Bowl Sunday, and I just don't think CIN-LAR is going to get me to try and find a TV.

Man I was looking forward to Chiefs Rams II. Mahomes had already booked tickets out of the country.

A ratings disaster regardless of who wins the NFC.

I think SF would actually have the bigger following of the NFC teams, but Cincy is just not a TV draw by any means.

As big of a ratings disaster as last year's Super Bowl?
Granted, the lack of people watching in bars/restaurants (and other circumstances) played a major factor in that but let's be real, it was kind of a dream matchup.

Rams/Bengals definitely not an ideal ratings matchup, but the Super Bowl is it's own beast.

I may tune in for the half time show.

Once the Chiefs lost I could care less who plays. Don’t need to watch the halftime show as I already saw Snoop once in my lifetime 🀣

I'll root a bit for Stafford. He's earned it after that hell in Detroit.

We got two 'busts' competing for the Super Bowl title.

Neither guy was a bust.

Yeah, that's probably it.

It would have been fun, though, to watch LA's spending spree go up in flames.

Stafford was 100% a bust for Detroit. He can be something else for LA.

Eh, the performance was always there. There's only so much you can do when stuck in a pro sports hellhole like that one.

Stafford was so bad in Detroit that Megatron retired at age 30. Case closed.

I probably won't watch the SB, but I'm more inclined to root for the Bengals. Smaller market like KC, young QB that seems like a good guy. Plus the debacle of Stan Kronke moving the Rams to LA out of St. Louis after lying about it to the City and building a $3B stadium to pad his ego.
