the portal and nil and conf realignment and anything goes have all had the negative impact on the sport/s that many on here predicted. the last several pages of this thread is living proof. one by one you are all testifying on how your interest has waned.

I still think it's a mistake to lump them together. I've made my feelings clear, but - the lack of continuity and development that comes from the portal is the biggest problem, and it is exacerbated by NIL for sure.

I don't think it's a mistake to lump them together - they are very much intertwined.
There wouldn't be nearly as much transferring if there wasn't NIL.

My interest has not waned at all. I can't wait for another enjoyable season of KU hoops to start!

Watching KU beat down mizzou is good got the bottom line. KU fans will always be hyped and pay good money to see that

I agree on the intertwinement (?). I don’t think it’s 1:1, though.

the great states of fla and tx have approved nil for the HS kids. a class of 2026 HS quarterback in fla signed a $400,000.00 nil deal.

To play in high school? Jesus christ. How is there that much money in high school sports
