I think Florida is too low on the list. I think they stopped reporting Covid deaths a while ago, or something.
Death Cult moniker is backed up by data. Kentucky is represented by Rand Paul….so there’s that

This paper just came out in Nature. Only 6 of the 40some antibodies produced against the original virus are as effective against omicron. Importantly only 3 of the 29 that bind the spike protein where it attaches to our fells are still fully effective.
Sorry randy but the data shows you gotta get that booster to be protected. Their words:
Marked reductions of plasma neutralizing activity were observed against Omicron compared to the ancestral pseudovirus for convalescent and vaccinated individuals, but this loss was less pronounced after a third vaccine dose.
Once again, previous infection ISN'T enough. You need to get vaxxed and boosted.

What’s the data on contagious period after exposure or infection?
The radio said they found it was most contagious from like 2-5 days after symptoms (or was it exposure?), then got kinda vague like “and after 5 days it isn’t THAT contagious”
So what the science behind the 10 days suddenly now 5? Is there even science behind it, or did the CDC just give in to “the economy” or whatever, and slice that quarantine in half like it’s just another break room donut?

If you REALLY wanna stick it to big pharma, why not just require the sharing of vaccine patents?
Considering all the public resources used to create the vaccines, why SHOULDNT the vaccines be public too?
And wouldn’t we prevent all these Greek letter variants if we actually got vaccines to places like Africa sooner?

The shorter incubation time is based largely on early data from group gatherings. And it appears the incubation time is shorter both for time until contagious and time until symptomatic. But in both cases you're thought to be most contagious two days prior to developing symptoms. (But both things happen a couple days sooner)
I believe the change in isolation time has more to do with reduced severity than with becoming less contagious more quickly.

I agree, since the vaccines were publicly funded they should be shared.
And yes to your third point, assuming people take them and infrastructure is in place to properly administer them.
