Which is, of course, why they will do so.
Sure. But the smart play is to sit back and let this have all the oxygen. Shit, issue some joint statement that injects more gasoline.

But, Jesus, the last thing they should do is draw attention away from reasons Trump should go, and toward what's bad about each candidate (which is, cumulatively and essentially, the only argument for why Trump should stay).
Nope, do it now while everyone is distracted. It's the preseason, best time to make mistakes. If anyone has a bad debate day it can be corrected and worked on before the regular season starts.

Just run the Sondland testimony over and over. Or at least just say "Sondland" every time the moderators ask one of the "Gotcha" questions aimed at dividing Democrats.

They will phucque it up. They always do. And the folks once again will be stuck sucking the fuzzy end of the lollipop.

Pete needs to learn when to not talk. Was doing great until he started attacking the others

Fish said, "It would be insanely stupid for the DNC to hold a debate tonight". Seems DC agreed.
I thought it would be insanely stupid for the DNC to NOT hold the debate last night.
Fish and DC are much smarter people than I am.
They must have been right and I must have been wrong.
I'm wondering what other people besides the 3 of us think about it - after the fact that it took place.

Sorry, I watched some college hoops and played a little Madden 20. Apparently they should have advertised it better.

I figure those who really cared knew when and where to tune in. Hopefully they got their fix and are less confused about who they would like to vote for. Two Democratic candidates I wouldn't mind winning the nomination were not even there. Several who I would in no way like to see win the nomination were there. That's the DNC for ya.
Can't say I blame you for not watching. We live in an age where we can get real time updates and read a Cliffs Notes version after the the debate is over.
Hey - I have a crazy idea. Since you're a Madden fan, maybe you should contact EA and suggest for Madden 21 they give players the opportunity to have Trump come to their team's home games and get booed while he's there.

Like I have said, it's just too early in the process for me to invest my time and research into it yet. Since my state's primary is near the end, I will not be choosing from the current field. I will be choosing from a significantly smaller pool. No need to research platform stances of folks that wont be an option.

But this is your chance to get invested in a candidate that doesn't make the cut, feel disenfranchised when they aren't on the ticket, and decide not to vote in protest. That is an important part of the advantage held by the incumbent, you should honor that ritual. To do otherwise in unAmerican.

Not to mention missing the chance to argue the merits of their platform items that are still in their toddler stage of development.

Forget about the platform. They are going to follow through on almost zero of what they promise.

So far mayor pete is my favorite.

South Bend has been a destination to avoid for decades longer than Mayor Pete's term there.

What I like best about mayor pete is that he is not Bernie sanders. He is not liz warren. He is not joe biden.

I would mention that he is not the others, but the others are worthless and just taking up space and oxygen and have no shot. So why bother.

I don’t think burney sanders has a chance either. He is just a blubbering blathering old goof. I mute the television when it’s his turn. I wish someone would just stick a fork in him already.

He is the old uncle that every single one of us will have to muscle through this thanksgiving day. Roll our eyes and nod our head hoping they stfu.
