Wow. Failed to cover first. But by then it seemed over anyway. Good fundamental bunt there. Props to both teams. So much cleaner than the Texas game.

Thought/think this is pretty cool.
Geddy Lee has a better baseball collection than you or I.

Todays edition of that and $5 gets you some fries and a coke at McDonalds.
Cubs are 8-1 in their last 9 games. If I am not mistaken, they scored 85 runs in those 9 games. If I am not mistaken they gained a grand total of 1 game in the wild card standings over that stretch.
* EDIT
I just found this.....

is Ohtani gonna be the GOAT (if he isn’t already)?
founding member of the 50/50 club, on a night he goes 6 for 6, with 3 HR, 2 SB…and 10 RBIs
kinda makes me want to start watching baseball

Pete Rose was banned for gambling on baseball.
Interested that Ohtani got off pretty easily there.

Go Cleveland or Detroit.
Yankees, Dodgers, Mets spent 200 million more than them.

Or, do we want a Subway Series. I feel like we all get a footlong (like it or not) in either of those scenarios.

The not funny thing is I have worked for and with the primary owners of the Mets and Dodgers.
I don't dislike the Mets or the Dodgers (heck, I probably own more Dodgers shit than any other professional team besides the Cubs, Blackhawks, and Bears) but I will probably not root for either of those teams if they play the Yankees in the World Series. Meanwhile, I would never consider myself to be a fan of the Yankees.
Does that mean I am rooting for the Guards or Cats? No. So..... There you have it. I'm lost too.
I'm happy it's football season.

My rooting interest ( of which I will not watch an inning ) for the rest of the playoffs is:
Cleveland
Mets
Dodgers
Yankees

I doubt I watch one more inning of baseball this year.

I made a bet with a friend on over/under 12.5 innings for the whole season ( regular and post - of ANY baseball game ) that I'd watch this year.
It took the postseason but I probably went over by double.

once Royals were competitive, and having access to them nightly, I found watching enjoyable. But anyone not 'my' team, meh.
