my wife was driving her father to one of the local pharmacies the other day to get a china fungus test. they had an appointment. as they were driving to the appointment she gets a text from the pharmacy telling her the results of his test. he tested positive for the china fungus. problem was, he had not yet taken the test.
Probably a conspiracy by the pharmaceutical companies to take over and control the entire world.
Occam's Razor, and all.

Do you have time to pick up his stuff?
If not, what happens if you say "I don't have time to pick up his stuff"?
he'll have to limit his post count here temporarily
Assuming it's not just another made up story...

He's demonstrated an admirable work ethic thus far. I'm sure he'll set aside sleep and food and social activities to keep his post count where it needs to be.

Same thing happened to a friend of my dad. Doesn't improve my faith in the system.

I'd guess you'd still have me.
You're more Wilt. I am more Westbrook. Just lots of nonsense. Big numbers. But nonsense.

Funny how these things seem to ONLY happen to the bots, err people on one side of the aisle.
Color me skeptical.
Although....I scheduled to get my booster and flu shot at the same time. I only got the flu shot. Had to go back a couple days later to get the booster.
Makes you question I'd anything is real nomesayin.

Pretty much any narrative from MICH is an automatic "I'll take things that didn't happen for $400, Alex."

My thoughts immediately.
Kinda like the stories that Preachers tell to Segway to a sermon.
Just believable enough to anyone who wants to believe it. To everyone else, it is clearly a made up bullshit tale.

I also question anything that was, "my dad's friend's nephew's girlfriend"
The more degrees of separation just means it's less likely true, and if true, shows how rare it truly is.

If it DID happen, it would likely just be an honest mistake thing, right? Like “oops sorry, called the wrong guy!”
In which case, the call would prob instead start and end with, “hi is this so and so? No, it’s mich’s father in law, never mind sorry wrong number k bye”
