I'm confident 95%+ of American voters don't know Haley was asked the question - and how she answered it.
I agree with you that most (if not all) of of those who are aware she was asked the question and how she answered it - don't give a damn.

I am very confident that more than 5% of the people who bother to vote in a primary saw it.

I'm very confident less than 5% saw it - or even read about it.
You and I should probably head to a mall in Michigan and take a poll.

Bottom line, as MICH basically said, it won't have any significant bearing on her winning the nomination or not.
She could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and she wouldn't lose any voters.

Her answer to that question probably gained her votes in the GOP primary.

Her answer probably made Trump voters appreciate him even more.
