No. Just suspended. On the official team roster as a Sophomore on the team.

I'm not sure there's a good or easy or satisfying answer to this, but what do you do if Pooka says "if you suspend me, I'm going to transfer?"

So...if he'd already admitted to committing the crime he'd been charged with, why would the DA offer diversion?
My hope is that the severity of the offense just didn't quite demand strong prosecution.
I am with 99 on this. I do not want our program to become late 80s Oklahoma just to get some wins.
Man. I just don't know. In the legal system, he will have no record. First time issue.
Les at LSU acted quick before with guys arrested. Kicked a guy off the team 10 days after an arrest for battery and assault.
If he thinks it's worthy of a dismissal, he'll do it.
He must not think that is the case since we are a month into this thing and an ending is in sight.

Plus the victim in this case was consulted before the D.A. granted the diversion and she did not oppose him getting the diversion. That is also a factor.

Hill gets convicted of abuse, gets drafted, becomes chefs hero, will likely sign a big contract.
Hunt doesn't get charged with a crime, gets kicked off team.
The legal system doesn't matter when it comes to the treatment of players. Video and public perception are all that matters.

Miles hasn't responded to the LJW, and it doesn't say in the article.

I would imagine it's not more than 3.
His diversion said he admitted to much less physicality than grabbing by throat. Grabbing the arms and throwing is still worthy of a suspension, but not as strong as a grab by throat and punch in stomach.
He'll be back for KU as conference play begins at the latest.

I would say he sits out the home opener.

Does the spring game count as a game?

I'm hoping it's an 8 game suspension. Then he would be able to play a fifth year.

The public uproar/secondary justice isn’t as heated for college football as it is for the pros.
My bet is two.

Wow.
One game.
Coastal Carolina was too pivotal to take the chance.

Much less than what I imagined. I always said 3 games at most.
But nevertheless POOOOOOOKA!
