...Dent told CNN's Ana Cabrera on "Newsroom" that House Republicans are standing with the President at the moment because of base pressure, but said "they resent being put in this position all the time."

Dent, who is a CNN political commentator, cited the Trump administration trying to "pivot from the Ukraine scandal" by announcing the 2020 G7 summit at the Trump National Doral resort. The decision was later reversed.

"Moving from one corrupt act to another," Dent said. "I mean those types of head-exploding moments are just I think infuriating these members and I think they'd like to step out but they just can't because of their base at the moment."

The survey with 56% of Repubs thinking that Trump is a better President than Lincoln is just mind numbing.

better than Lincoln, but still not good enough to just publicly support without deflecting to how bad Cankles is instead.

Reminder: The president is a thrice married philander who cheated on his third wife with a porn star while she was nursing his fifth child and he is a serial groper who once openly bragged on a hot mic about how he liked to commit sexual assault.

Precisely the type of person you would hope "Prominent Christian pastors" would want to pray for.

I’m sure they do.

But “pray for them despite being labeled the devil and/or the antichrist” just doesn’t have the same feel to it as, “pray for him and unconditionally support him despite being the total antithesis of the values we purport to strive for...”

well I already posted a link about how Obama is the antichrist, and reposted your link about Devil Dowdy.

But, ya know what? I can’t find a link to any prominent Christian pastors who advocate for sexual assault, or for cheating on your third wife with a porn star.

You got me!

Christian pastors, like non-Christian religious and laity of all forms and varieties, are human. That means that some of them are terrible, horrible, detestable, vile creatures (which you, as a former Catholic, and I, as a current Catholic, know well). Some are the opposite. Some are wonderful, joyful, admirable exemplars. Some of those who are terrible nevertheless excel at spreading joy and beauty, while some who admirable are poor evangelizers.

All of them and all of us can benefit from any blessings bestowed upon us, be it in the form of a godhead conferring grace, karma, emotional satisfaction, or even like-minded people offering their friendship and compassion.

You don't have to believe to accept.

Oh, brother. There's no chance you're getting paid what you earn.
