Guess we can cross that off the list of things you can pretend to be outraged at when trump does them. Maybe you guys have more in common than you think?
Know what?

You got me.

I am perhaps more guilty of fat shaming than I should be.

I understand there’s a lot of factors at play here. But what gets me is that many of those factors are personal responsibility and lifestyle choices.

How many obese folks do nothing to take care of themselves, and disproportionately drive up healthcare costs for everyone.

...and have you ever had to sit next to, or worse in between, obesity on an airplane or public transportation?? Good lard!

Meanwhile, I eat salads for dinner and regularly exercise, yet pay thousands a year in health insurance though I have no health issues to speak of *knocks on wood*

But yea, I should try not to hate so much on fatties.

The difference, of course, between me and a Trump being, I try to be a model of a healthy lifestyle. Potus sits on his fat ass eating hamberders.
Tldr

Glorification seems like a strong word. Care to elaborate?

I’d phrase it more as, normalization? Or something.

To me it’s finding that fine line between being considerate of biological and genetic and socioeconomic and all the factors that can affect health and weight, and people who hide behind things like DoNt FaT ShAmE mE! as if their preference for fast food and sedentary lifestyle has nothing to do with it.

On a related note, one of my biggest pet peeves is when assholes say “I only run when I’m being chased!”

How about the hypocrisy? You know, being an avowed socialist who is also a millionaire with two enormous homes?

I always forget that you're one of those people that sees socialism as a mark of intelligence and compassion.

Is he still unemployed? If so, it makes more sense.

Can't keep up with all his stories.

He's a good dude, and I like his stories. No reason to kick a man when he's down.

I guess I’m a socialist in the sense I like things like infrastructure, and weekends, and EEEEK! healthcare for all.

But I’ll admit — I’m also very much a conservative capitalist in the sense I don’t wanna pay taxes on all that real estate I apparently own in your guys’s heads.

Why would you want a weekend when you can use that time to make more money? And we already have healthcare for all who can't afford it. They're called Medicaid and Medicare. Where people balk is when they want something for nothing.

Actually, doesn’t Bernie paradoxically do better with younger demographics?

My dad always used to say “When you’re in your twenties and you’re not a liberal, you have no heart; when you’re in your forties and you’re not a conservative, you have no brain.”
