break up with her.
I'm not convinced it's 100% a "her".
If she was my girlfriend/wife, I would.
Not so funny thing is this is an unusual case of a female shooting a female.
I know the car that was shot at had a guy in it. I'm wondering if the car that had the shooter had a guy in it too.
On another note, VERY strange that in a 8-9 hour span there were two separate boat "crashes" within less than a mile of each other. I'm not kidding when I say there were probably no more than 10-15 boats out on the lake within a 3 mile radius in that 10 hour period.
WTF? Lake Michigan Ness Monster?

I’d break up with her too.

Last night's / this morning's activities.......
Car accident a block away with injuries.
Fight in which multiple people were injured about 4 blocks away.
Fight at a hotel 2 blocks away in which the police were called to break it up.
Car accident and one of the cars caught on fire about 6-8 blocks away.
And..... The icing on the cake - A shooting less than 3 blocks away.
Of course the car accidents are not acts of "violence" - unless they were purposely caused - which many are.
The other shit, makes me want to be a "bad" cop. Many/most "good" cops don't do shit. They sit around all day/night long and text and twiddle their thumbs.

Last night and this morning we had the Asian dude hanging from the Trump Tower.
Around 10:15pm last night a block away from where I live - a car drove in to a furniture store and the driver fled the scene.
Less than 5 minutes ago ON MY BLOCK it was reported that a person pulled a gun on another person during a "road rage incident".

Getting a little nastier out there every day. It's as if there is some sort of influence agitating everyone at every opportunity. No idea what that could be.

Not familiar with Chicago? It has been nasty long before Trump became president.

Trump is causing all the murders in the hood(s)? I find that doubtful.
But i do think last i saw murders were up this year...but i don't think very many of these are politically motivated killings...gang violence is the main problem when it comes to murder #s.
There is really no reason to argue things that can't be proven....i just found it funny that twocoach was blaming trump for the condition of Chicago, when imo that has very little to do with it.

you’re doing the exact same thing you accuse two coach of
jmo, but to pretend that trump, his treatment of covid, and his divisive rhetoric haven’t had a negative impact on people’s emotions and state of mind is, well, just wishful thinking
can you make him directly responsible for one murder or another? no, but that doesn’t mean he hasn’t had an impact. if you think it’s been a positive impact, i’m sorry

No I wasn't. I simply said chicago "has been nasty long before trump became president".
That is a fact. (And an unfortunate one because i love Chicago)

We can get in to philosophical debates all day long and discuss the different aspects of what is taking place.
Forgetting everything else, in terms of "nastier", I have cited many examples on here of people's attitudes being generally "nastier" - than what I had noticed 4 years earlier.
MUCH of that I believe does have to do with the present state of our country and our President fanning the flames.
Remember, I'm often out there among the "protesters" more as a witness than a participant but I have seen some really despicable behavior by people of all races, religions, nationalities.

My "out there" was in general, not specific to Chicago. But whatever adds a smile to your day. And you don't have to start at "perfect" to get nastier. You can go from "a fucking nightmare on earth" and still get nastier. The worst place on earth can always get worse.

This is the city I live in.
Depending on what source you choose to trust, according to those sources, between 100 and 1000 people are currently "marching" "demanding" Trump concede.
Some are holding signs that say "count every vote".
Soooooo...... They are wanting him to concede BEFORE every vote has been counted and the election has NOT been decided? If so, not too bright folks!
OR, are they marching and NOT "demanding" he "concede" - and the media sources are the dumb fucks?
Hmmmmm.
My guess is - They are "marching" because they just want him out of office. "Conceding" is not their "demand".

Two separate unrelated incidents less than an hour apart a block away from each other - and 2 blocks away from where I was when they occurred.
Two/three blocks away from where my mother lives.
A women was mugged at Superior and Rush and someone fired a gun at someone else at Huron and Rush.
It's a daily occurrence in Streeterville, the Gold Coast, and the Mag Mile areas. The "heart" of the city.
What used to be a nice place to live, work, shop, dine, etc., has become a literal war zone.
So..... I am doing my part by bitching to the Mayor, my Alderman, the Police "Superintendent", and I am attending CAPS meetings. My question is what are those who are in charge of and running the city doing about it - and what can they do about it?
I believe the correct answer is - obviously not enough and apparently it seems they don't know what if anything they can do about it - or perhaps they just don't care - because nothing is being done successfully.
I'll tell you what many of the residents and business owners are doing about it - they're not putting up with it nor accepting it and they are leaving.
As they should.
Until something is done.

Playing gutter to gutter here....
But any idea why so many of the most dangerously shitty cities in the country are run by Democrats?

I copied and pasted this here for you. You seem to need it.
"In statistics, the phrase "correlation does not imply causation" refers to the inability to legitimately deduce a cause-and-effect relationship between two variables solely on the basis of an observed association or correlation between them."

Not sure how YOU define "most dangerously shitty cities" but sure, I have an idea.
The majority of the people living in them are Democrats.
Is there a more complicated answer you may have been looking for?
