But is it a completely unique instance of a coach getting attractive females on his staff to appeal to recruits?.

It's just Les doing it 10-15 years ago?

What does that have to do with KU?
Did he do that while employed at KU?
What is has to do with KU is that he is currently employed by KU. I know that's not really a clear answer but what people have done in the past often has a bearing on how they are perceived in the present.
I don't know what if any role PAST transgressions play in the hiring and firing of employees and how it pertains to standards and codes of conduct at KU but it's really not a good look for the University to have hired a guy who has a history of "misconduct" involving female students.
Shorter answer:
Who knows.
Its not a good look.

Aka he’s fired. They’re just determining if it’s for cause or not.

But also very on brand with the US today.

Does this give KU cause to free itself of a contact?

What is likely being figured out now. If cause, then they’re off the hook. Which I guess you could say is with cause because he didn’t disclose any of that info.

Good excuse for KU to get out of a situation they feel wasnt working.
Getting recruits..but we got top 50 classes under Gill, Weis and Beaty.
Coordinators leaving.
Winless seasons.

Hire someone on kansascrimson.
Just make sure they've never hit on a woman who didn't like being hit on.

If Miles hit on women in college not employed under his department, and preferred to hire attractive employees in a college environment, then yes.

If women he employed he harassed, then no, not applicable. My statement/joke would be wrong. Please note future attorneys of my intent of language.

I guess if Andrew Cuomo is on this site he is eliminated.
Probably me too.

If you placed any random American into a high profile job, and they were magically implanted the knowledge to be at least average at said job, but had an invisible video recorder taping their entire lives from 16 years up, and someone could scrub through and grab 3 segments of 30 seconds of their lives to put on social media, 98 percent would not keep the job.

Right, I agree but Les allegedly did these things AT his job/s.
Much different degrees of what is and isn't worthy of being given a pass.
I would expect most employers to frown more if they found out their employee has a history of sexually harassing other co-workers (past or present) then they would if let's say they viewed a video of that employee getting arrested for urinating in an alley when they were 21 years old.

Again, if it’s coworkers, and with some evidence, than yea, shoulda been fired at LSU.

Times change. People change with the times. I’m not firing a guy who made a female employee uncomfortable ten years ago and said he hires attractive blondes. I’m not firing a girl who made a male employee uncomfortable ten years ago and said she hires attractive brunettes.

And gutter I guarantee I can get much much worse from your life than peeing in an alley if I had a fast forward rewind of your life.

Well yeah for now. Probably because he’s the only guy with collegiate HC experience. But yeah not the best look.

If DeBord is named interim coach, Girod has to fire Long.
