Rupp Arena attendance record history.

Kansas is on there once in 1980.

Current attendance record is....drum roll please...you guessed it. Louisville. Their rival.

Does KU vs KSU show up?

It's so weird that illy, the one guy that takes every opportunity to point out posters' obsessions with UK and Cal, is now taking an "eh, just another peer program" stance.

Speaking of KU-K state records:

201-94.

As in, K state could literally win the next 100 straight games and still be behind.

That’s not a rivalry so much as a little brother

Another way to look at this

Before Larry Brown the series record was KU 118-82 (59%) = Rivalry

After Larry Brown the series record is KU 83-12 (87%) = Not a Rivalry

No i am not.

I am putting them in a elite peer group that consists of only 3 or 4 teams. They are some of the biggest match ups in any given year for basketball.

I am simply disagreeing that "rival" is the correct word to use with them.

Rivalries typically aren't just 1 sport. They encompass much more than that (to me).

Nope. But UK vs UL typically does.

We are Kansas Basketball. We only have elite peers, and there's only going to be about 3 or 4 at any time.

So, again, you are trying to say there is no real difference to the fans between UK and Villanova. It's just not reality.

Well i wouldn't throw Nova in that group. DUKE would be who i would use, and to me, the evidence suggests Duke vs KU and UK vs KU don't have much difference.

All good. It's okay to disagree on who is a rival.

I consider our rivals Mizzou and KState. That's it.

Ah yes, all of those KU vs. Duke matchups in Cameron and AFH. How'd I forget those.

But that's not it. You'll continue on for pages arguing the same point and moving goalposts.

Duke isn't a rival either. They are a peer. Our fans are equally as hyped for Duke as they are UK.

This isn't that complicated.

And what's CnB doing? Strange him commenting isn't bothering you.

If you don't like discussion then this probably isn't the place for you. Adults are talking respectfully to each other, and you're just in here to talk shit and play mr tough guy (probably because you're very insecure and unhappy in real life...so i hope whatever it is that you accomplish by being here daily provides you some comfort).
