I don't think rice sucks at defense. but he's barely scratched the surface of what he will become. he has the tools to be a high level defender. I'm willing to bet if he plays another year or 2 here self will turn him into one of the elite defensive wings in our conference

I think we might actually have KM too.

DH
Mj
KM
Kj
Udeh
That would be the worst shooting lineup in the three point era

Looking at him when he was next to/got tangled with Oscar, his upper body is filled out but his legs were what stood out as much smaller. We definitely don't want someone with his playstyle to gain too much weight, but he will probably naturally gain about 10-15 under the College S&C in net weight.

He already has an NBA ready body.

I agree. It'll be an issue.

does it matter if the opponent averages 18 pts a game? That is a hellish defensive line up. goodness.

but yea....someone's gonna have to score somehow.

Dejuan will just drive and throw it up to KJ and Udeh who will alleyoop dunk it at the same time.

If JW can make a jump in shooting ability then I am hopeful KM and Rice could as well.

And DH continues to become more of a threat.

We will be offensively challenged next year. Really need the freshman to be ready to contribute to some extent scoring wise.

And at this point last season we never thought we'd have Kevin mccullar. There's a good chance we have a good transfer or 2 next year

That'd be awesome. It'd also mean he's being compensated NIL wise into the 7figure range.

But, at this point, I think it is more likely we have JW and KM back than it is we have GD back.

He's going to be a top 15 pick. He is ready. There will be an adjustment period, obviously, but I think within 12 months it's entirely realistic to expect him to be a rotation player on an NBA team playing 15-25min per game.

After the exhibition win against KU, Arkansas had one more against TCU.

TCU beat them, and supposedly Udeh was one of the best players on the court and both sides of the ball. Finished with 13 pts on 6/7 shooting 8 boards

I wish we had a better idea about which transfers are quitters and which transfers are force outs.

i don’t think Udeh or Zuby were force outs…we brought in Parker after they left and were still short-handed in the front court

they got mad that Self brought in HD, despite neither of them having anything close to his offensive skill set (which Self made abundantly clear prior)

man.

Let's shelf the Sasha comparisons for a moment.

Remember when the discussion was whether Hunter would be defensively inferior to one or both of our very raw departing underclassman transfers?
