Can't blame Pesek-Hickson. If the staff really believes in Morrison than Pesek-Hickson is in no mans land.
Good for the roster breakdown as well. I get the "can't have too many RB's" sentiment, but 5 of 85 (~6%) scholarships is too many in today's game. And, they're all fucking Sophomores
Neal - SO
Morrison - RS SO
Hishaw - RS SO
Johnson - RS SO
P̶e̶s̶e̶k̶-̶H̶i̶c̶k̶s̶o̶n̶ ̶-̶ ̶R̶S̶ ̶S̶O̶
Neal isn't redshirting so there isn't really a way to change that.

A simplified look at the current 82 man scholarship roster
4 - QB
15 - OL
5 - RB
6 - TE
13 - WR
15 - DL
10 - LB
6 - CB
6 - S
2 - K/P
I'd personally add CB/S with the final 3 spots.

We can easily find RB depth.
I thought he would be good and he has talent, but for the short time, ever since his recruitment, APH has been a little bit of drama.

KU pushing hard at the 2 top backs in Kansas. Edwards from Derby seems to be a heavy KU lean. He’s damn good. Probably could get a FCS transfer to fill depth this spring.

Leipold will evaluate the guys and make some position changes I think.

Alonso Person (RS-SO) Linebacker has entered the transfer portal. So has Jamahl Horne, but I didn't have him listed as a scholarship player. I may have been wrong about him in that regard.

Actually, nevermind about Horne, it was known on Senior Day that he wasn't returning so I removed him before the original post. He was a scholarship player.
Looks like we are adding Kael Farkes (OL) but I can't find anything about him online. My guess is a preferred walk on situation.

Horne was fast, but must have been a slow learner.

Cerner just sold for $28.3 billion. Cliff Illig can sign that check for a new football stadium now.

Interesting times ahead for Kansas City and 1000's of Kansas Citians.

That is to say Illig, or any big donor for that matter wants to push all in on a new stadium.
If I were them I would be in more of 'you have to prove it to me consistently' before I put up the kinda money KUAD is asking for.
KU, gets five wins next year I would expect a stadium renovations or new build announcement to follow.

So, CnB can we put you down for a $50 million commitment over five years?

There's no limit to what I can pledge.

If KU does try to build a new stadium, how does that logistically play out? What's the timeline on a demolition and rebuild? Where does KU Football play games while this happens?
I'd think the absolute best case scenario is one season playing elsewhere, but two wouldn't surprise me.

Sporting Park or Camarohead.

I'd take Sporting Park.
At least you could potentially fill that stadium

My guess would be they would do the renovations or re-build in phases, similar to what Texas did a few years back. I can't imagine the bickering that would take place trying to have KU homes played some where not on campus or gasp, playing in Missouri.
A phased roll out also makes it easier on the money portion instead of needing it all up front.

I agree on Sporting Park, and that seemed to be a consensus thought amongst fans 5ish years ago when the rumors started.
But, if Leipold gets something going and you can get an average attendance in the high 30k's or low 40k's, it will be hard for KU to pass on.

I honestly did not think about the Missouri part, you're right.
Lawrence businesses will bitch and moan about taking it out of town, but it all depends on the logistics.
