How much crow will you suck if your boi looses?
More than Scott Drew sucks?
on this message board I expect to get a lot of crow even if Baylor doesn't lose until the final 4, but it wouldn't be warranted.
So let say Baylor loses tomorrow. Here's the facts. Scott drew had a "rebuilding team" that lost 4 starters and the majority of their production from last year. With a rebuilding team, fresh off a national championship, he went out and tied with KU to win a share of the big 12 regular season, was named conference coach of the year, earned a 1 seed in the ncaa tournament, before being upset by a very hot 8 seed. Scott drew also had numerous injury issues this season, including losing one of his key players for the season to a serious knee injury.
So even worst case scenario Scott drew loses to North Carolina, and people wanna continue the Scott drew sucks fun and games, the facts have already proven to any sensible person that Scott drew is a pretty good coach
If Bill Self won the title this year and then lost 4 starters, no one in their right mind would say they were "rebuilding".
That should always be seen as a reload unless you were a fluke national title winner, which they werent, or a coach that isn't respected yet.
I don't disagree, but Scott Drew isn't Bill Self. And Baylor isn't Kansas.
I personally don't know if i consider it a rebuild or a reload this year for baylor. I am not that familiar with what type of recruiting class they brought it.
Either way, I dislike scott drew personally. But he's done a tremendous job turning baylor around. He's a national title winning coach. He has the same amount of national titles as numerous well respected HOF coaches.
Bottom line: baylor being a top 10 team every year is beneficial to KU. Especially since no other team seems to want to step up to the plate and become a 2nd elite program from the big 12.

Beard had Tech rolling before Drew sniffed a Final Four. Had the Big 12 in the bag in 2018 until Evans got hurt late. Obviously left the program in great shape.
Drew’s 2021 league title shouldn’t count. And he sucks.

Someone familiar with Columbia would need zero time acclimating to Spokane.

Sitting here on beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene, I couldn’t agree more.

I mean the city itself. It's, at least in my experience, the same sort of washed-out, 1970s mass-produced strip-mall-in-a-can aesthetic.

Smallest city to ever host a Worlds Fair.
The Fair area, and Spokane River, are really cool

For your own sake, I wish you were a golfer. That Coeur d'Alene course is one of the most beautiful courses in this part of the world. Absolutely stunning views.

You hit floaters into the lake. Obviously it's supremely not-great for actually practicing anything, but it's pretty goddamned incredible.

I really don’t get this take. Few and the program itself I find likeable.
Their fan base is very little brotherish but KU fans should be well versed in how to deal with that. I went to the UCONN/Gonzaga game in Seattle 10-15 years ago with a client who brought his 20 year old daughter who attended Gonzaga. She went on and on about how great the environment was at Gonzaga home games and how I just HAD to come to a game to truly understand college basketball. I just laughed (internally) and enjoyed the game. Annoying, sure, but whatever, she/they can think whatever they want

Awesome! Been to 1 of those in Florida.
I am not much of a practicer anyway, basically use the range almost exclusively to simply loosen up before heading to the first tee. 15-20 balls max. Although if i didn't play 150+ rounds a year actual practice would be more important.

Ha. Isn't the fancy suite at the resort named after that? I recall being upsold on it...
