Yes dajuan is bills favorite. Not a surprise. I love the way dajuan plays defense. And the way he runs the offense, unselfishly like a true pass first point guard. He's a good point guard. But he has major holes in his game. And I hate that. He's small, isn't very athletic, and can't shoot. Those are big liabilities for a lead guard at a place like kansas. And he missed 5 layups tonight. 5
He's a point guard with a national championship. Geez you're dumb.
We won that because he shared the backcourt with 2 first round draft picks. And had another point guard on the team that was significantly better than dajuan. And we all know that. But dajuan did help fill a role. He was the 6th best player on that team

Does Clemence not fit the style/pace Bill wants this team to play this year?
Seems like he just doesn't really have a position.
He's basically a slow 4 that we are trying to turn into a 5. But he doesn't block shots, rebound, or defend the interior well enough to play the 5 against real 5s it seems.

Doyel would get emotional during games, sure. But Randy is just a complete douchebag. I'd trade him to get Doyle back in a heartbeat.

Doyel routinely called our players garbage. This randy guy is no better.

He would be a good fit for the hi-lo which we don't run anymore.

Loved Juan's confidence tonight. Jalen too.
Dick is amazing.
Udeh looks promising.
Pettiford off the bench going 100 mph is a weapon.
McCullar solid af.
KJ goes hard, needs to be smarter and to rebound on the defensive end.
Yesufu... tries.
That was fun.

If he's okay being a backup role player I think eventually he will get his time in the main rotation. But it may be another year away.
After tonight it is hard to see him beating out Udeh. I think Udeh should start immediately.
KJ off the bench gives us versatility because he can come in for any position other than DH.

Bill watched the championship game with CJ Moore...one of the things he said:
Self knew the opening minutes of the second half were important. His team needed some kind of spark. Right before leaving the locker room, Self looked toward Harris, “You’re going to key the whole thing,” he said to his point guard. “They’re not gonna be able to run offense because of you.”

Yesefu just doesn't look comfortable. Hes stressing not playing. Needs to see some shots fall
Udeh looks super promising. So athletic. Id like to see him play through his mistakes and get as much experience as he can. Hes our ceiling. The quicker he learns the better we get

I've said a lot of good things about dajuan too. Its no secret he excels at parts of the game and struggles with others. Wanting him to finish his layups isn't too outrageous

You're right, so far Clemence looks like the odd man out for big man playing time this year.

Man, if MJ Rice is ready to contribute and can be the last piece of the puzzle that would be awesome.
I think Yesufu and MJ is the battle for the last spot.

I know we are lucky to have dajuan everybody relax. Experienced point guard who plays great defense. Who is a pass first unselfish team player who takes care of the ball.
But its ok to wish he could should a little better. And was quicker. Most good college guards have that skillset these days. Im assuming we won't see him miss 5 layups again this year

Zack is gonna be good. I'm pulling for him. He can shoot, board, and drive. I like him.

I hope Gradey shoots 15 3pters a game and DH doesn't have to even attempt 5 layups.
Run plays for that boy like he's Reggie Miller.

he eats the glass though, interrupts lanes and gets his hands on lots of loose balls.
