Leipold to be on NFL Network at 7:40 Hawk time on Good Morning Football.

Not bad publicity. Lots of eyes will be on that show after the first night of the draft.

Oh. So he would have stayed otherwise. And never got a Final Four.

nijel opposite markquis opposite keyontae would have been quite the court. word is that abmas got a cool million from texas. pretty confident tang doesn't have those resources at hand for a one year player. although he's about to announce an addition according to his twitter feed.

What happens when KSU reverts to its historical level? It will.

not happening under coach klieman. he could be hired away by iowa, perhaps. but with him, this program is rock solid today. if you want to argue the particulars, i'm game. they'll be chasing their fourth b12 championship and second in row this fall.

It will happen gradually then fast. Like bankruptcy. The most important three recruiting rules in sports are Location, Location, Location. A rise by Kansas will probably spell the end of the line. One of the reasons Snyder ran up scores.

DraftKings with an O/U win total for KU at 6.5

7th in the Big 12. Tied with oSu and UCF. Better than BYU, Cincy, Houston, Iowa State and West Va.

Highest O/U win total in 15 years..?

That number seems fair but I’m going over with Leipold doing what he did last season and returning his starter and almost as good backup QBs.

Mark it 7.

Baylor with eight home games somehow. UT gets one more chance at relevance. Would be nice to beat them in Austin one more time.

Big pick-up. Didn't play much at Auburn, but ESPN had him ranked as the 18th best player in the nation coming out of high school.

Yeah 9 games last year after redshirting in 2021. Dozen snaps per game with a few tackles and other misc stats.

Big focus is that he's young. He's got a big frame and seemingly will come in and be in a decent position to start.

Huge pick up. Leipold seems to be playing cards with recruiting quite well. Goes for HS recruits for about half of the class and then mostly younger transfers to fill in there as well. No JUCO guys and very few 1-year graduate transfers.

https://www.espn.com/college-football/i ... acks-2000s

58. Todd Reesing, Kansas
Years: 2006-09
Stats: 11,194 passing yards, 64% completion rate, 90 TD, 33 INT, 15 rushing TD
"Led Kansas to an Orange Bowl title" is a pretty good lead line for a résumé, yeah? The undersized Reesing led KU to 25 wins over three years as a starter. In the 11 seasons since he left, the Jayhawks have won ... 27 games.

57. Patrick Mahomes, Texas Tech
Years: 2014-16
Stats: 11,252 passing yards, 64% completion rate, 93 TD, 29 INT, 22 rushing TD
Even by the standards of the typical air-raid quarterback, Mahomes was asked to do a lot. He threw 44 passes per game as a sophomore in 2015, then 49 per game as a junior, and despite his being, you know, Patrick Dang Mahomes, Tech went only 12-13 in that span.
