I think we're all influenced by propaganda in one way or another.

However, there is a difference between being influenced and being radicalized.

I agree that all influence should be sifted for intent. But that seems at odds with not approaching every aspect of influence as if it is propaganda.

So what you’re saying is, if you doubt you have a solid grasp of something, it is wise to avoid expressing a strong opinion about it?

Not entirely.

It is pretty simple, for me. If a statement is made or a question asked…there is an intended outcome being asked for….it is for a reason.

I am confident that I can recognize propaganda for what it is, partly because I was trained to identify liars and lies.

And before I get piled on, I know full well that both sides, and ALL medias are guilty of it. I have equal disdain for both.

I'd be curious to hear more about this liars and lies training you received.

I've seen various reports of Musk supporting Neo-Nazi and right wing politicians and causes across Europe, but this bundles them effectively. And if anyone thinks his gesture the other day wasn't a Fascist wink/dog whistle to them and their brethren in the MAGA/White supremacy cult here in the USA, then you likely didn't get Trump's "stand back and stand by" genuflection at his debate with Biden, and you're too dum to handle your own affairs.

As pdub has said/alluded to.... A simple, I did not do a Nazi salute and I denounce anything Nazi related and then move on - would have been a better/proper/normal reaction/response.

How difficult would it be to get BlueSky posts to be embiidable? I’m not personally looking to abandon X (because at the moment I feel that the access to information outweighs the little I could do by leaving) but certainly to use it less.
