So when the SEC added UT and OU they became more valuable. But when the ACC added Cal, SMU and Stanford it just diluted the ACC. There was no actual added value. Now what the Big12 did was survive for another day. There is a reason the Big10 took Oregon and Washington but left out OSU and WSU.

We should end up ok.
The Football team is doing fantastic. We have a coach. We winning. We going to Bowls.

WE BUILDING A NEW STADIUM. Which shows the world we serious about football.

All these things should get us across the line.

I mean as long as we do not do something stupid. You know something like PLAY OUR HOME GAMES AT SOME FREAKING 15K SEATING SOCCER STADIUM instead of the beautiful NFL football stadium. LOL

I'm just joking around but I'M laughing.
You're joking, but also making pdub's and my point for us. Playing in a quiet, half-full stadium is NOT something that will communicate that we serious.
Neither does playing in a soccer stadium.

Let’s play an entire season in a state the university (in regards to sports) absolutely hates.

I’ll take how to sell your soul for $2000, whoever the host of Jeopardy! is now.

^^^^^^^^
Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

1. I'm pretty sure using a word in an inquiry and then defining it for the intended audience is at best, condescending.

2. The field is GEHA, the Stadium is Arrowhead. 'GEHA field at Arrowhead stadium'.

3. See, that's condescending.

Arrowhead has been floated as an idea on social media. Originally, the stadium was going to be torn down 1/2 at a time, but it's almost completely razed at this point already (minus part of East side, see link) so that isn't the direction they went. Happy for that, as it'll close down Lawrence for just a season as host of KU games, but I'm not a fan at all of playing in Missouri all season. I'm also not a fan of the Tomahawk Chop or saying Home of the Chiefs at the end of the Anthem (and I'm not big on holding any symbolic item as sacred, I just laugh that many at Chiefs games are god fearing patriot types, and should know that this change should be viewed as 'unacceptable').

To be fair, the Arrowhead news was broken on December 14th, and little has been brought up since, so no one really knows how/what negotiations are, unless on the inside. We need a friend with a friend of a friend of the ex wife of their friend to let us know.

We end the year as a ranked football team. In the last AP poll we are #23.

With what we have returning on the offensive side of the ball we should start next year in the top 25. We finish in top 12 next year we in playoffs.

Arizona ended #11 OSU #16 and KSU # 18

Off season hypothetical.
Of course some of us assume we know Lance and how he thinks and how he intends to stay at KU but no one knows for sure.

With this in mind, would you rather:
A. Lance leads us to the B12 title at 11-2 and a CFB playoff appearance where we loose a close game in the first round. Lance is then hired by a B10 or SEC school.
B. Lance gets KU to 9-3 but that’s only good enough for a third place in the B12. We win a solid bowl game. Lance stays on for 2025.

Success is such a double edged sword. Now I know how schools feel in CBB. You can only get so good on 1 coach before the bluebloods come calling.
