mask mandates in salt lake valley INCLUDE masking when standing in line outside
given the increased transmissibility of omicron, sure seems like a reasonable precaution
I've been masking outside lately.
And not because of Covid. It's nice and warm.

Me too, haha. Sick or healthy, my face runs like a faucet under 50 degrees.

So Roger Marshall is now pushing for legislation he is calling the "Fauci Act" requiring public disclosure of financial documents. Upon hearing this one of my wife's coworkers at the college sent Roger Marshall an email containing a copy of Fauci's current financial disclosure that she got online and copied.

I sent him an email telling him he could borrow my copy if he couldn't find one online.

My youngest got went back to school to teach today after being out for a week with covid. Shortly after she got there, school is canceled because there aren't enough teachers to fill the classrooms and over 20% of substitutes are also out of commission due to illness. The student population was down to day as well with students home with covid.
The people who wanted to just "get it over with" are getting the big public health experiment they have been calling for. We probably won't know the public health fallout of this for months or years.
"You can't make an omelet without cracking a few eggs". Or something about "thinning the herd", take your pick.
It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the 2022 elections. Who will lose the most loyal voters in the die off? Who will voters blame for this mess? A few percentage points of shift could make a big difference.

I'm guessing that he's angling for actual documentation, not the doctored-up version that Fauci and the government released.
