Have to win at Honduras. Berhalter was bad.
That is disappointing. Big time.

That being said. Canada’s speed was a big problem tonight. They are better.
But that was not good. 12 more to go before end of qualifying. Lots of time remaining but it’ll get quick, fast.

Da fuq is that about?

US still doesn't have the offensive talent to threaten.
Exciting to see us beat Mexico but sometimes I think Mexico gets in their own head when they play us.
This team is more the team that got beaten easily by Switzerland than a team that can sweep Mexico.
I still think we finish top 3 in Concacaf but we arent a top 10 team. If you were to make me rank us, I'd say 30th.

A tie at Honduras is a must now.
A win would put us back breathing ok.

Bad defense.
Per usual.
We need to talk about how shitty John Brooks was on this goal. He didnt even try.

I think he fell asleep. That’s the only thing I can say.
The offense is terrible. It’s individuals trying to make plays on their own. Little to no cohesion between the 10 on the field. That all falls on Berhalter, the coach who was fired from Sweden’s 2nd tier division team for lack of offense.
He’s gotta go.
Taylor Twellman just mentioned this on Twitter and I didn’t know this. France in their 2 games has tied Belarus and Ukraine. Obviously Belarus and Ukraine are better than El Salvador and Canada, but still an interesting thing.

Can still get a good win and come out with 5. Which is what should have been expected going into it.
Anything less than a tie in Honduras, and Berhalter will be gone.

I'd also like to talk about how we were struggling with Canada all game and didnt make a change until the 83rd minute.

With what you've seen in the first two games, can you even see 3 in Honduras? We will be fortunate to leave with a point.

If Greg lost 2-0 or worse Wed, he might loose his job.

I think he has to have at least 9 points by end of October games. If he doesn’t, he’s gone.
I wouldn’t be shocked if US went back to Bob Bradley.

McKennie sent home. According to Landon Donovan this is “almost beyond repair”

This is why you can't just count on the "get a point on the road at El Salvador" math. This program just isn't yet good enough to assume three points at home against anyone.

If you're not good enough to win your games at home then you aren't good enough to be in the World Cup.
Costa Rica 2014 finished 2nd using that math.
It's not as if there's a vast difference in quality between El Salvador and Canada.

He's very important to us so I hope he gets back into the fold after tonight.

Pirlo as he was winding down at Juventus questioned McKennie's professionalism.
Hopefully this is an eye opener for him. He seems to enjoy the star lifestyle but doesn't seem to understand the accountability behind that.

Berhalter needs to go. Kilnsmann was fired after losses to Mexico and Costa Rica. Getting 2 maybe 3 points in these 3 games is worse.
