The thing with that, and kind of even ties into this, people that don't speak English as a first language realize that English is thee world's universal language and often even needed in their own everyday lives. So, they want to learn it, often need to learn it, and many even have to learn it. English speakers have it good going to most countries in the world--they already speak the universal language. We speak two (her, 3) languages in our household, but would get by just fine on English alone for the rest of our lives, even in the home country.

English grammar also doesn't make sense, contradicts itself, varies by region, and changes a lot. World should have picked something different.

Have we fallen into a mesmerized state that makes us accept as inevitable that which is inferior or detrimental, as though having lost the will or the vision to demand that which is good?

Oh yeah. There's no excuse at all for the US measurement system or anyone using the imperial system.

And how the Brits using miles per hour/gallon has to be confusing as hell.

I'm as antiliberal as they come. And I've been considering switching to electric vehicles for a few years.

The dumb thing tho. Is a lot of electric vehicles are powered by the electric grid. Which is primarily still powered by Fossil fuels

To sum up pronouns/trans people...

Its a group of people who can't except who they are, but expect you to accept who they think they want to identify as. And if you question it? They act like you're the asshole and the one that's confused

What exactly is this good thing Elon is attempting to do?
"The left" as a whole doesn't hate him. Some on the left hate him because he's brainwashing the easily brainwash-able people.
What''s pathetic to me is that you accuse "the left" of being "the Sith" without realizing you're a sith yourself.
Hes exposing evidence of what people already believed. So it makes no sense to say he's brainwashing anyone.

The brainwashed group is the people that followed every little thing fauci and the covid cult said
Got it. He's attempting to expose evidence of what people already believed. Seems tired/redundant to me but it's his prerogative. I guess that's good for some people but frankly I don't need nor want Elon Musk to be my lord and savior.

Makes a lot of sense - that he's trying to brainwash people into believing he has something that he doesn't. You and I can embellish the truth (or even lie) and convince people of a lot of things.

In regards to Fauci, I have no doubt he's made mistakes but I would rather fall in to a category of being brainwashed by someone who is an expert in a particular field than be brainwashed by dumbfucks who don't believe in science and proven facts. That's just me. I know others feel differently.
There is nothing redundant about exposing evidence of corruption within our systems. Especially when it's guy like biden faucci Trump and stuff (big tech the Healthcare system the media) that has soooo much power and control over our lives. Its actually crucial people make a point of exposing these things

That argument no longer holds. Economically most (not all) people don’t drive long enough every day that the range is an issue. Most people also supplement the grid with rooftop solar panels. Net, fossil fuel consumption decreased. But then I’m probably banging my head against the wall, because you only believe what the right wing echo chamber tells you

If I had solar panels I'd 100 percent get an electric vehicle. But at this point I dont. The grid still gets most its power from Fossil fuels tho. Lot a of coal. But we are slowly shifting to more renewables. I guess that's better than a gas powered car which is obviously 100 percent Fossil feul

And for the last time I'm not a right winger. Im not left wing either. Not everyone that doesn't like the left is on the right

I should have been more specific - I meant to say most/many EV drivers supplement the grid with solar. For the first time, for at least a short period, the California grid obtained more power from renewable sources than fossil fuels. While not truly representative, on my street there are fewer homes without rooftop solar than with. Maybe a quarter-third of the homes have an EV. Of course, I’ve also mentioned my neighbor who has a pickup truck that hasn’t picked up anything!

Any way that you could be just a bit more contradictory on this?

Bonus points though for confusing yourself on except/accept

is there anything more lazy and ignorant than labeling one’s self as anti-liberal, rather than actually pro- something…anything?

how can such a person possibly expect to be taken seriously?

The point was people besides liberals will be interested in Teslas still. Some people who vote liberally will still be interested in teslas.

I'm just saying I'm definitely not a liberal. But im very very pro environment. So are a lot of people that aren't "leftists"

Not everyone gets caught up in the my team vs your team game. Im not on either team. But the left has gone sooooo far left that I oppose a lot of the shit they try at the federal level
