Hang Mike Pence and he can't certify the election.
JFCBasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 12:21 pm No it's not.
Overthrowing the government is not the same as disrupting "transition of power".
Charging a building filled with politicians that are there to certify an election...screaming to murder and hang Democrats as well as uncooperative 'Pubs.....just doesn't quite fullfil your requirements of an attempt to overthrow the government?BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 9:26 am I still don't understand how they were planning to "overthrow" the government by breaking into and vandalizing the capital? It was a riot. Not an attempt to overthrow the government imo.
No because that can't result in overthrowing the government. It's just not how it works.Overlander wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 3:10 pmCharging a building filled with politicians that are there to certify an election...screaming to murder and hang Democrats as well as uncooperative 'Pubs.....just doesn't quite fullfil your requirements of an attempt to overthrow the government?BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 9:26 am I still don't understand how they were planning to "overthrow" the government by breaking into and vandalizing the capital? They could have stormed the building, killed everyone inside of it, and held/occupied the building until this very day and they STILL wouldn't have "overthrown the government". The main reason is that none of that results in taking control of the government and military, which would be required to qualify as "overthrowing the government".
You are, once again, splitting hairs and choosing the outcome to fit your views.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 4:31 pmThey could have stormed the building, killed everyone inside of it, and held/occupied the building until this very day and they STILL wouldn't have "overthrown the government". The terrorists aren't the ones that were trying to wrestle the power.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 5:02 pm The terrorists weren't going to end up in power. Sorry. Just not an outcome that could have happened. Zero chance.

Nice to see the village idiot once again arguing an unwinnable point to oblivion.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 5:07 pm Zero chance.
They could occupy the building forever. Trump could live there, and tweet from there and call himself head dipshit in charge, BUT that STILL doesn't equal overthrowing the government.
Swing and a miss, once again.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 5:10 pm I think you've probably had too many beers already today. Maybe have some food and a glass of water.
Yeah, I guess I should learn to ignore complete idiots spouting bullshit simply to keep thier arguements rolling.BasketballJayhawk wrote: ↑Sun Sep 19, 2021 5:13 pm I'll just take your word for it. Hope your day gets better.
