Jax pulled a Bills defense v the Chiefs on the Bills.
Cover 2, safeties way back, prevent deep ball to Diggs and Sanders.
Both teams will have to figure out how to find those shallow open spaces the defenses are giving -- or punish them with a running game.

That would be a good place to start. The ideal receiver in my mind was Allen Robinson but he's probably not as available as Patrick would be.
My guess is he (Robinson) will be 100% available at the end of the season.
He's going to demand high dollar and there'll be a number of teams competing for him.
If he's open to making things work and thinks the Chiefs are an ideal spot - i'm all for it.

Broncos will lock up Patrick. Their "star" WRs - Jeudy, Hamler, Sutton - are injury prone, miss substantial PT and are of unpredictable performance when they do play. Patrick is a rock. Broncos will trade one or more of the others before they let Patrick go.

Defenses have caught up and surpassed the offenses thanks to the deep cover two. Even Dallas was embarrassed. What makes this defense work is defensive holding though. Grabbing guys on the line of scrimmage is about the only way to prevent them being open in crossing patterns or quick outs. I would like to see the Chiefs split out to the Wing T at some points in the offensive sets, forcing the the two deeps to play run security late in the set or call time out--and leaving Hill at Wing and Gordon/Pringle/Harman on the split. The Wing T will make it harder to get the right package on the field defensively and if set late in the play count, will overwhelm most run defenses. I like the options for screen passes, sweeps, and middle to deep post patterns. You have three ball carriers in the backfield and the LBs have to cheat on coverage without committing. Kelce would run wild until they bring the safeties back. At Wing, Hill can't be jammed at the LOS.

I think you forgot ( well, we know you didn't, but i'm playing along ) Buffalo who walked into Arrowhead and beat the Chiefs by 18.
Yes, I know Buffalo dropped to Jacksonville.
If we want to go backwards how far back do we go? In 1985 the Bears were very good.
As you pointed out, YESTERDAY the Bills lost to Jacksonville.
In other words, Buffalo lost to JUNK.
Green Bay minus Rodgers is still > Jacksonville.
The Chiefs beat GB while Buffalo lost to JAX. Therefore, right or wrong, I feel today KC > Buffalo.
HAHA
JAX are terrible. I mean totally. Jax had total 218 yds, How did they win? 118 yards in Penalties good for 6 first downs and three turnovers by the Bills. The Bills lost cause they were garbage can on fire bad. The Bills had like 20 yards rushing by their RB's. The Bill's still were driving and should have at least tied the game. But they garbage can on fire bad.
You could say the Chief's are worse than a garbage can on fire but you would be wrong and Gutter is 100 percent correct.

Did OBJ clear waivers yesterday?
Edit. Teams have until 3pm CT today to claim him.

No team is as good as their best game or as bad as their worst game. Buffalo is still better than KC right now.

Chiefs on their 3rd string RT tonight. Hopefully Mahomes doesn't get killed.

Interesting the Wing T brought a long gain but Travis off the LOS to avoid the chuck.

Good to see Kelce getting targeted more early. He should have a minimum of 10 tonight.

Dumb turnovers again.
Inexcusable.
I think the punter caused that.
Trash.

Keep Kelce off the chuck like they have been doing. Hate that fumble. It is one of those "moving" ball situations, but it didn't come out until he was down.

Pretty obvious hold on Okafor. Nice. KC does not get calls. Really since the SB.

So. Raiders have shitty punt coverage. Runs it back to the 50. Moving ball fumble. And they benefit from crappy play. That is also football

When I played salvation army football as a youth, we were taught to tackle someone you focused below the waist. Not the shoulder pads.

Teams are doing double duty on the traditional screen. They are staying home to stop it and can cover outside the tackle runs. Run it through the tackles or pass it over the middle. Or have Kelce turn around after blocking.

Bad hash spot for Butker. That was silly. Run the ball to the center and he can clear 65.
