We got an update from the neighbor on her sister that was taken to the hospital in an ambulance last week. It seems the sister who was taken away is now in the ICU with covid pneumonia. She is a trumper and adamant anti-vaxxer. She has two growed up daughters who are healthcare workers and two sisters who are also in healthcare and hardly speaks to any of them. They had been trying to get her to go to the hospital or doctor for about a week and finally someone went over to check up on her and called the ambulance. She refused to believe she had covid.
Mrs 99 has had multiple patients who refuse to believe they have covid, mostly because they don't believe it exists. All unvaxxed and a lot on their way to ventilators. She had one guy who was in serious respiratory distress and they were going to give him remdesivir. He told his family about it and they said that some moron family member found on facebook that it's evil stuff. Off to the ICR and a vent for him.
Such a shame that some people are so brain washed that it may end up costing them their lives.

Received an email today that a child in my son’s K class has Covid. He told us 4 kids were missing today.
Also, my almost-2 year old suddenly spiked a 102 fever this evening and threw up. This, after he attended daycare today for the first time in almost 2 weeks. It was shut down last week due to a Covid spike…
Fingers crossed for my little dudes. Hope we can keep avoiding this shit.

Ha!
You obviously don't realize the CIA and Mossad are in cahoots and anyone who uses one of these tests is poisoning themself - which will lead to the progression of an approximately 500 day relatively painless death.

Sorry to read this. I hope they are ok.
Said to my mother over lunch yesterday that I have no idea what I would do if I had a child.
Damned if you send them to school/day care and damned if you don't.

we've been tested like 5 times this fall, everytime anyone's gotten sick. didnt that time because it was over break and it was damn near impossible to find an open testing site. We also quarantined anyway, just in case
your shtick is tiresome. Fuck off.

yea its a dilemma. We've decided to hold them out for the month of January and reevaluate in Feb.
Both decisions cause more stress than preferred.

Do you wait to buy toilet paper until right before you take a shit? Do you wait to buy ibuprofen until after you get a headache? Do wait to buy band aids until after you get a cut?
FOR THE SAFETY OF
YOUR FAMILY AND COMMUNITY, plan ahead you ignorant fuck.

if we'd tested and it was positive, we couldn't have done anything differently. so what's your issue?

The fact that we're two years into this thing and you still don't get it is not a surprise. It's embarrassing that we received a degree from the same institution.

we put nobody at risk, we didnt expose anyone. we stayed in our bubble for 10 days, well after symptoms were gone. you just have an issue with me, anyone else tells this story and you have a different reaction.
