Yes.
To somehow equate this injury to a play call that is used often in the NFL without injury is like saying Wayne Simien shouldn’t have tried to block that UMKC kid.

Both? We saw twists and stunts tonight that we really haven’t seen. But also, Frank Clark had his best game in KC and it’s directly correlated to the success of the defense.

They also had some crazy intensity. They tackled well against Denver’s good running backs. They stepped up And played at a different level after Mahomes went down.

But Flacco is bad and immobile. He was a sitting duck.

He has a terrible ankle. Just hand the damn ball off to the RB and live with it. It wasn't on the 1 yard line trying to get a TD. Totally unnecessary for a guy that's dinged up.
It wasn’t the same leg. Mahomes looked fine to that point. He got hurt playing making a football play that is one of the most effective plays in all of football
It doesn't matter if what happened ended up being a completely separate injury. It was a completely unnecessary risk given his already dinged up status. If he was 100% healthy at the time then I am.probably not bothered by it.

Flacco looks like he is just mailing it in to get one last set of fat checks. He has quit.

Last night I saw RBs falling backwards. I haven't seen that since the early days of prime DJ. I mean I saw a pretty good back in Lindsay and a big back in Freeman getting absolutely stonewalled. I believe they had multiple TFLs. I was shocked.
Another thing I really liked was I saw guys swarming and rallying to the ball. Reggie Rags also looked really good.

Chiefs almost had Earl Thomas on a 1 year, $12M deal.......

Yeah this is widely known. He was going to be signed that next day. The agreement was completed, but then Baltimore came in with more at the very end and Thomas changed his mind.

It was either going to be Thomas or Mathieu. Ended up being Mathieu on a more team friendly deal for a younger player.

If given the option I would have taken Mathieu over ET.

Exciting, but I hope they don't end up causing him a more serious injury by rushing him. I would rather punt this season than risk the future.

Double edge sword. Chiefs have a lot invested in Mahomes and the future but.....
There might not ever be a "next season". Chiefs fans have been waiting 50 years for "next season".
When you have the talent to win a Super Bowl THIS season - I say you have to go all in and try and win it. Even at the expense of possible injury to Mahomes.

Jones looked a lot like Flacco at crunch time in New York.

This is how real men deal with kneecap injuries.

Mitch Trubisky just may be the worst draft pick in Bears history.
I would rather have Stanley taking the snaps next season. I'm being dead serious.
Fuck the Bears.

Enjoy the rest of your day!

Hahaha the Bears are such trash. This is not all on Trubisky either, although he’s been bad. But Nagy has been horrible as well.
