So, we're headed out to see the kid and grandkid next weekend. Flying. I'm not so sure about it, but there is no stopping Mrs 99 from seeing the grandkid.

We flew a couple weeks back. Honestly, the interactions were less frequent/close than what happens in the grocery store.

The circulating air would make me more nervous than the physical distance aspect of flying.

Sorry! That wasn't meant to scare you! I'm sure with proper mask, hygiene and common sense, there should be no issues. Best of luck 99. Hope the trip is fun!

Funny.
A pulmonologist I'm around quite a bit told me that worrying about transmission-by-contact (touching things) is a waste of energy. While it
can happen, the viral load isn't generally nearly enough.
All about face-to-face.

It's filtered.
Actually I think the recommendation is that you turn yours on the entire time, as it would move viral particles floating near you down and away from your face.

Flying is actually much more pleasant right now.

It's been close to 50 years since I've flown on a half full plane.

Who didn't show up to fly that day, Orville or Wilbur?

It's pretty great.
And, because it feels so nostalgic, I went ahead and smoked 2 packs and sexually harassed/assaulted the "stewardesses."

Well just got a Corporate email....won't be going back to the office until early 2021. Both phase 3 and 4 have been pushed out. I'm in phase 4. Man, I might go stir crazy.

Wish you could opt out of the stimulus payment. We're gonna be paying this back in taxes for decades.

Well, the most important thing we need for our country right now is to make sure Japhy doesn't help pay those taxes.

This. It's insane. Blowing up the deficit when the economy was strong was criminal. It makes the stimulus that much more, I don't know, depressing? Not the right word, but, general point.

We don't need it but will likely spend it. Restaurants, Mrs 99 likes to buy clothes. It will get back into the economy and even generate some tax revenue locally.
