Jamaica should be down a man for the rest of the game.
Yellow given instead of red.

USA atop the group after Mexico and Canada tie in the Azteca.
Panama sits 4th with a win, two ties and a loss.
I still think a point there would be more than acceptable.
Goal is 7 points out of these 3.

Man, Canada is about to have some huge home games. Drawing with US and Mexico on the road is impressive.
Canada vs Mexico in Edmonton in November. Brrrrrrrrr
Canada vs US in January. Undecided location as of now. Probably Olympic Stadium in Montreal.

Hopefully ( and it looks like this will be the case ) Pulisic and Reyna will be healthy enough to play in November.

Would REALLY love a lineup of this in November. 4-3-3. The 3 mids would be a CDM and 2 CM who are able to float around to the wings a bit if needed.
GK - Turner
RB - Dest
CB - Miles Robinson
CB - Richards
LB - Antonee Robinson
CDM - Adams
CM - Reyna
CM - McKennie
RW - Weah
FW - Pepi
LW - Pulisic
That's the top US team. Home against Mexico and at Jamaica. You need to be able to go all out in October/November/January to make February and March not as relevant as what it may need to be.

I think Brooks if healthy, because of his experience, starts on the backline.
Otherwise I'm lovin' the lineup.

Man, I just think he's looked just horrendous in the stars and stripes. Good for club. Not great for country.

He's struggled as of late, i'll agree.
I think he's one of our most talented defenders.

Nice bounce back there for the USMNT. Just looked high quality all night. Early goal had no effect on them.
Ideal result tonight with a Canada whopping of Panama. US looking like an easy top 3 for qualifying.
These Central American teams are just dead by the 3rd game. US with fairly easy wins in both of the 3rd games in the stage.

We are on pace in terms of points per match but Panama still only 3 points behind.

Still annoys me that Greggggggg punted that game in Panama with his lineup and tactics. Horrendous.

6 matches in, we have 11 points - our goal is 23+ points.
8 matches to go, need 12 points from them.
November matches:
USA v Mexico Friday Nov 12 9 PM ET
USA @ Jamaica Tuesday Nov 16 5 PM ET
Those are both big - Mexico undefeated - but if you get out of those with 4 points, then you're in a good spot with 3 home games left v El Salvador, Honduras and Panama. Win those and you are for sure in the top 3.

Extra day of rest compared to the other sets of games that have been played. Get your best 11 out there both games. No rotating. No tactical changes. Put your best 11 out there with your best plan. The CM last night was the best the US has had in years, and McKennie wasn't all that great. But the combination of Adams helping the backline, Musah pushing aggressively and McKennie's poise is a good trio to have.
GK - Turner
RB - Dest
CB - Robinson
CB - Brooks (I like Richards more)
LB - Antonee Robinson
CDM - Adams
CM - Musah
CM - McKennie
LW - Pulisic
FW - Pepi
RW - Reyna if healthy. If not, Weah would be a good fit there with his speed. But Greggggg is probably going to play Arriola. Because "he works hard"
