As someone who rides elevators with other people multiple times a day - I would probably be no worse being on an airplane but...... Given a choice right now, I would be very hesitant to get on a plane.
If I felt I pretty much had to get on a plane - I would do it.

To answer 99's question. My guess is you will have many chances to see your Granddaughter again.
On the flip side, If I wanted to be morbid I could say tomorrow is promised to no one.
If I were in your shoes it would be a tough call for me.
Thanks for the definitive answer, gutter.

Seriously, I’m very torn on what I feel you should do. Whatever you decide I support your decision.

We've been discussing it all day. Not sure what's gonna happen.

Already has. My office is shut down until further notice. Working from home for the next few weeks, which I hate because I get so bored being at home all day and my productivity is low.
Sure, but I kept hearing businesses and organizations using the phrase "in an abundance of caution." This news should tell people here what they should have already realized: the virus is already here and people are spreading it to each other.

The only way forward to limit the amount of deaths is testing and sensible social isolation.

My bad bro. Things are happening fast.

And sorry, I been meaning to hit you up. You make it to WP?
Authorities said limiting access to local residents and people with Texas plates only.
Ohh! If local residents get access too then that’s an upgrade. Normally we’re just run off the road by yall’s Diallo trucks and suburbans.

And yes, my phone just autocorrected dually to Diallo.
Cheick that

The social isolation is what's going to be tough, especially if this goes on for months.

If there’s a silver lining to a rise of cases in Kansas City, it’s that once corona virus has a double digit lead, Patrick Mahomes will come in and save the day.

Why are we advised to bump elbows instead of handshake, while also being advised to cough or sneeze into the crook of our elbow instead of our hand?

They cancelled ng-conf at Grand America in your neck of the woods. That'll be somewhat of a financial hit. I am sad to miss it, but it was obviously the right decision.

Just for grins, I checked last minute cruises. Lots of them, for cheap. If you wanna take a chance, now is the opportunity.

Annie Oakley got the text from JCCC this morning regarding this as we were drinking coffee with friends. She got really anxious. Then she started getting panic texts from her employees at the college. Annie isn't in the danger group, but it is still a gut punch knowing it is in your workplace. She said one of the women in her office suite in different department has been coughing all week and it had made people nervous. Now we wait and see if we get any more notifications. Buckle up buckaroos.
