It’s very charitable to call it a “lake”. At best it’s something between a puddle and a pond

He just led our team to its first top 10 win in 15 years.
Hell yes Bean.
Happy for him. Would still rather have JD out there any day.

The wife and I were at the volleyball game at the university we both teach at in Michigan. The announcer kept coming over the PA and saying “There’s an upset brewing in college football. From Manhattan, KS, the score is Oklahoma ___ Kansas ____. After about the third time, I went down and said, “It’s Lawrence, not Manhattan.” He said “Are you sure?” and I pointed to my T-Shirt: “Yes. I am sure.”

I’m happy for the win, and I have to now change my former thoughts that Bean hadn’t led them to any big wins.

I’m happy for that. I’m glad I don’t have to be right anymore. But it took too long to prove, regardless.

What big wins did Jalon Daniels lead Kansas to last season and this? Don’t say Duke.

If Daniels isn’t tough enough to be a leader and fight through the pain ( just coming from what I’ve gathered from what you’ve said ) wouldn’t you rather someone who has stepped up to the moment?

Ah, got it.

In a perfect world, Daniels would step up and play. He has more ability and has a track record of making better decisions than Bean. He keeps defenses guessing and gives us more of an upside.

Bean was at the helm in today’s win. He also had two interceptions and completed less than half of his passes. He got the job done, but it is hard not to think about the blown two point conversion vs. Arkansas last year or the second half of the OSU game this year.

Full credit to Bean. I think he played as well as he can. I’d just prefer to see JD running the show so we can beat KSUck and get a good bowl game.

We weren’t talking about Jalon Daniels. But you need to be right, so be right.

Heard the game on Fox driving back to Texas. Bean seems to have trouble with the short passes, which is so odd. But OU left him with time and deep routes. Whoooooo hooo!
