Wait

Why is Biden playing political games over state abortion laws, when he could just codify Roe like he promised he would?

Not following the point you’re trying to make.

If Biden let Putin overrun Ukraine, Randy would be calling him Neville Chamberlain.

You can have A priority that isn't the TOP priority. These things don't happen in a single file line.

One would think that stopping an autocrat’s bid to reconstitute imperialist Russia (especially on NATO’s doorstep) would be fairly high on the policy goals list.

Maybe he should be more concerned with securing our own border than the Ukraine

Maybe he should be more concerned with the American economy than sending aid to Ukraine

And maybe if republicans actually cared about the national debt, they wouldn't add $7.9 trillion dollars of debt in 4 years, and pass $1.9 trillion dollars in tax cuts for the rich.

Maybe you have no evidence that (1) Biden is doing "worse" on the border than the previous administration, and (2) Biden (and not the GOP loons) is the one holding the global economy hostage with culture wars horseshit.

Maybe both sides need to be more worried about what they can do to fix problems, instead of just blaming each other

And yet you’re here vaguely (?) shitposting…something (?) about Biden/Ukraine. And when asked, blaming Biden for somethings (?) about the border and the economy?

he does it most every time he gets called out

he backtracks and provides a more nuanced and reasonable approach, trying to convince everyone it’s what he really meant all along

More like you guys add a bunch of assumptions to my statement. And I have to back track you to my original statement

Biden's Rightward Shift on Immigration Draws Comparisons to Trump

https://time.com/6281386/biden-immigrat ... ift-trump/
Biden’s looking to get credit for the new rules he put in place to replace Title 42, ones that set standards for who is allowed to apply for asylum in the U.S. that Biden’s critics on the left say are as restrictive as those imposed by his predecessor, Donald Trump. The new rules largely deny entry to those who previously tried to cross between ports of entry, didn’t apply for protection in any country they transited through on the way to the U.S., or approach immigration officers without an appointment made through a new U.S. government app.

Four years ago, Biden made clear his presidency would unwind Trump’s entire approach to immigration. The record he is building is turning out to be less clear-cut, potentially scrambling the debate about the border during next year’s election.

Biden “wants to send the message that he’s willing to go where Trump went, really make his case that he’s as tough as anyone on people crossing the border illegally,” says David Bier, associate director of immigration studies at the Cato Institute, a libertarian think tank in Washington, D.C. “It’s certainly the case that he thinks it’s a political necessity.”

The new asylum rules have been blasted by immigrant rights advocates on Biden’s left, both in public comments and in private meetings with White House staff. Groups representing immigrants quickly sued the government to block the rules, saying they are a return to Trump-era asylum restrictions and violate U.S. asylum law designed to offer protection from people fleeing political persecution and state-sponsored violence.

So he's used some of what worked under Trump and replaced some of what didn't under Trump. I think that's a reasonable approach. Sounds like the notion that we have "open borders" under Biden is completely fabricated bullshit from the GOP.

I have no problem with our nation having strict rules as to who does and does not enter our country. I do not want "open borders". It wasn't a requirement that Biden do everything different than Trump just because his predecessor was in the opposite party.
