Thats crazy our population has continued to grow the last 3 years with this deadly deadly virus that some of you think we needed all these desperate measures to stop
I don't know what your political affiliation is but I do know these days someone is a fake Pub if they are not blaming Joe Biden for a population increase in the USA.

"Population growth has been slowing for years because of lower birth rates and decreasing net international migration, all while mortality rates are rising due to the aging of the nation's population," said Kristie Wilder, a Census Bureau demographer. "Now, with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, this combination has resulted in an historically slow pace of growth."
Is our population going up or down? Hint: its still going up

I was speaking globally. The us reproduction rate has actually slowed because the cost or living is rising exponentially. The average American family can barely afford to have a kid or 2, you definitely aren't seeing those large families any more. But yes illegal immigration is way up because biden and the dems have no interest in securing our border

Unaffiliated. I hate the 2 party system. Im somewhat libertarian but sometimes libertarians are a little too extreme with completely gutting the government. We need some government just way less than what we have now

"Highly qualified" Doctor? He's an orthopedic surgeon. What exactly are are his "qualifications" in regards to Covid?
Or the climate?

PhDs and MDs are generally very smart (obviously)
thing is, more often than not that intelligence is highly focused on one or a few niche subjects…that’s why if you’ve got heart disease, you aren’t going to a podiatrist (or at least shouldn’t)

Oh.

The U.S. Energy Department has concluded that the Covid pandemic most likely arose from a laboratory leak, according to a classified intelligence report recently provided to the White House and key members of Congress.

Just another "conspiracy theory" that a few of you easily brainwashed dummies were so certain we shouldn't consider possible, turns out to be true

I think rubes like you are missing the point: the strong negative reaction to the "conspiracy theory" was that the provenance of the virus was simply not all that relevant in the critical, early days. And silly isolationist rubes did not exactly hide the braindead chutes-and-ladders game: if this was China's "fault," then the US had no responsibilities. Of course that's false, here in the real world (noting as well that it was that silly isolationist attitude that led to us dramatically abdicating our surveillance responsibilities).

It think the shitty part was it wasn't just china's fault, but some people within the United States government had ties to it as well. And the obviously the political shitstorm it turned into as the whole situation was manipulated for various reasons

I think if you look back a number of posters, including me, weren’t certain where they thought the virus originated because there wasn’t enough info to make a conclusion.
There still isn’t.

Lab, Market, China, whatever, who/m/ever.
If Fauci created Covid 19 and released it on the world, cut his balls off and make him eat them.
Otherwise, let's move on and hopefully learn from our mistakes. As a country and a world.
