USMNT is an “also receiving votes” team.
Right.
On occasion slips into the top 25.
Creighton works pretty well here.

I think Turner shoulda kept the starting gig and he plays in the MLS.
Pepi plays in the MLS and he is killing it for us.

If we can get a win v Jamaica on the road, all US fans can take a deep breath and distance themselves from last go.
Three wins in a row v Mexico.
Hasn't happened since 1937.
Are we better than them?

Ochoa was talkin shit on US earlier:
“Mexico has been that mirror in which they [the United States] want to see themselves and reflect, what they want to copy.”
Christian Pulisic offered his response to this trash talk in the only way he knew how. By coming off the bench, scoring the winning goal against Mexico — which happens to be the third time the US has beaten Mexico in competitive action in five months — and revealing a message on his shirt that read “I am the man in the mirror.

2 points per game ( 7 games, 14 points ) is just where we want to be if we want to finish first.

Great match last night. Ended up watching at the bar with some friends (I know, bad fan blah blah blah).
Pulisic delivering that goal is getting him one step closer to being Captain America. Just a massive moment for him. Also love McKennie getting the second. Finally feels like our best players are starting to shine in the most important moments.

I think it's fair to say that the US and Mexico are as close to even as they've ever been. March 24th is going to be a fun day. Hopefully both teams will be at full strength.
As for qualifying. US has three home games remaining against the 6th, 7th and 8th ranked concacaf teams. El Salvador, Honduras and Panama. Win all three of those and they're in.
