The DL is actually really deep when healthy.
DE - Clark, Ingram, Okafor, Danna
DT - Jones, Nnadi, Reed, Wharton, Saunders

Coming into the year the strength of that defense was the defensive line. An elite all pro, a marginal pro bowl type and then good quality rotational depth.
I have never been a big Jones guy but last night was something special. He dominated the game and for the first time in the Mahomes era he was the best overall player on the field.

That's what he gets the big bucks for.
And Frank Clark, while still waaaaay overpaid, was disruptive as well.
Complete turn around from the defense - now just need to get the offense humming- Mahomes still not quite there yet.
Listening to NE radio up here - they think New England will land the no. 1 AFC seed and were arguing whether they'd take Mac Jones over any QB in the league.

Once he moved back inside, which is where he should have been all along is now earning his paycheck.
Clark, is playing better as of late but unless he wants to significantly restructure his deal they can't get rid of his salary fast enough. Of late, his snap get off has been phenomal but you'll see he doesn't have that elite bend to get back to the QB once he beats tackles. If he did he might have had three sacks as well last night.
Who knows in the AFC right now. It is jumbled mess of good and average teams.
You put Mac Jones on any other team in the league and he is just like Tua and every other 'system' Bama QB that has come along in the Saban era. He literally got drafted into the perfect team and system.

Oh, no doubt.
But might as well get half a season of him in good form.
"You put Mac Jones on any other team in the league and he is just like Tua"
This pisses off the NE crowd like no other but it's true.
New England has a top 3 defense and the best coach in the league.
Mac was definitely a steal for them but I think Trevor Lawrence would be as good if not better right now.

Yes! By all means get as much as you can out of him while he is here. Would like nothing more than for him to get his second SB ring and then sign a 'huge' deal some where else.
Good for NE. I'm glad they are moving on from the Brady years. Funny how last year the narrative was all Brady and not Bill. Now this year Bill has NE playing the best it has ever looked while Brady is back looking like he did his last year in NE.

Can't be onboard with this.

The #1 seed wouldn't surprise me as they are just a game behind Tennessee with a head to head meeting next week. It just feels like a matter of time before not having Henry is too much of a hurdle to overcome. We'll see what New England looks like against some real teams soon as they have feasted on a head ass schedule of late. The door to the #1 seed is open for either Tennessee, Baltimore, New England, Buffalo or even Kansas City. No one is invincible.
The "Mac Jones over any other QB" talk is just Patriot fans getting carried away. That's just dumb.

Tannehill was pure awful. Just awful. Has nowhere to hide now. Mahomes has several interceptions that deflected to people, but Tannehill could have thrown several more yesterday on top of the four he did gently give away. Tennessee spent a fortune on someone living on Henry-centric defenses.

He has no Henry, Julio and healthy AJ Brown.
Be like us down Hill and CEH and a hobbled Kelce.
Pats fortunate to catch Browns without Chubb and Titans without most of their cast.

Donkeys only have on of their 2 good RB. Think the Chiefs are very healthy and did a lot of self scouting out of the bye.
Looking forward to this game.
