Does Mr Buffett meet DC’s criterion for a capitalist who isn’t manifestly corrupt? Apparently he wrote the following in his annual letter to shareholders.

“When you are told that all repurchases are harmful to shareholders or to the country, or particularly beneficial to CEOs, you are listening to either an economic illiterate or a silver-tongued demagogue (characters that are not mutually exclusive),”

That's consistent with what I was saying about the current Republican party. There's nothing about conservativism. It has become a populist party whose platform consists solely of owning the libs.

And they're vying against a party that just attacks people they disagree with rather than the actual ideas.

I think this is all pretty damn accurate.

Id also add the party that labels itself as tolerant is incredibly intolerant of anything that doesn't ride their line.
