CNN’s Boris Sanchez speaks with Pennsylvania radio host Victor Martinez about the Puerto Rican community’s reaction to comedian and podcaster Tony Hinchcliffe’s insulting joke about Puerto Rico during Donald Trump’s Madison Square Garden rally.
It's cause i don't give a shit what happens to the people that illegally came here. They fucked up they gotta deal with it. If they are already here and aren't hurting nobody then I'd be OK with whatever
If you don’t give a shit about what happens to them, then you shouldn’t have tried to take a moderate view.
That is a moderate view.
The far left wants them turned into citizens (votes)
The far right wants them deported
And I dont give a shit. If they aren't hurting anybody, let them stay as "undocumented workers"
If they are committing crimes bye bye
But you don't earn a citizenship by sneaking into a country
That's the equivalent of letting someone steal when they break into your house

You are making up a false endpoint so as to make your stance - "I don't give a shit what happens to the people that illegally came here" - seem moderate.

I never have thought of making immigrants Dems as the goal. Arnold Swartzanegger is an immigrant, and he made a good argument for being a Republican while marrying into the Kennedys. Change the radio station, you sheep.
Come to think of it; I wonder if there was ever a concern that Joel Embiid could be deported since he never played a game during those first couple of years in the NBA. I don't suppose since he had an NBA contract, but an argument could be made that he did not participate in competition.

While Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump characterized his rally at Madison Square Garden as a 'love fest,' US residents say they are insulted by a comedian who called Puerto Rico a 'floating island of garbage' in front of the crowd.

This is kind of interesting to me.
I just looked at all of GOP's tweets on X from October 31st. That tweet doesn't show up for me.
Why is it not showing up and/or why was it removed?

It is an ad, not a Tweet. So maybe ads don’t stay in the timeline?

AHA! Said the ignorant guy (me). I was unaware it was an ad.
Regardless, interesting they felt the need to publicize that on X.

It seems quite counter-productive. After all, we hear ALL THE DANG TIME that Congress needs to pass a new law making illegal voting illegal. So I guess that just means illegal-er?

These aren't funny. Ok, they are kind of funny? Nah, not funny. Well..... No. Not funny.
I guess it all depends. Right? Or, maybe it doesn't depend - and it's just not funny.
I get so confused these days. What I am supposed to feel is acceptable and what I am supposed to feel isn't acceptable. Based on other's standards.
For the record, funny of not, I admit I did smile. Shame on me?

President-elect Trump on Monday recirculated a social media post suggesting his incoming administration will declare an immigration national emergency and use military assets to support his mass deportation pledge, labeling the claim “TRUE!!!”…

i predict it won't be as bad as you think, and it won't be as good as i think. it will be somewhere in the middle.

You'll have to educate me on when exactly it could possibly be good to turn the US military on its own citizens. Within our borders no less.

guess who just happens to be connected to the private prison industry?
yep, trump’s pick for “border czar”, tom homan
And just wait - the answer for the "how do you tamp down inflation while rounding up 4% of the US workforce" paradox is right there in front of us now.
