i predict it won't be as bad as you think, and it won't be as good as i think. it will be somewhere in the middle.
You'll have to educate me on when exactly it could possibly be
good to turn the US military on its own citizens. Within our borders no less.
Illegals, by definition, are not citizens.
They also have the opportunity to avoid being escorted out by the military by leaving on their own. They have about 90 days, I'd estimate.

So you're good with the US military stopping people on the streets for "Papers please"?

So you only want the Constitution to protect CERTAIN citizens that look like you, got it.

Do illegal immigrants wear big signs around their neck that make it easy to tell them apart from Hispanic citizens of the US? Or are you just OK with thise citizens rights being infringed upon when asked to prove they are citizens for no reason whatsoever?

Things were allowed to get to this point by Brandon and Giggles. You can thank them.

I guess I would just say: what evidence exists that they will stop at a place where these concerns would in fact be absurd?

What evidence exists that they won’t? You guys have gone off the rails.

You can use that same premise to keep from taking any course of action against illegal behavior. It’s a cop out.
Let’s not do checkpoints for drunk drivers.
Let’s not ask people to show their receipts when returning items.
Let’s not ask people for their tickets before boarding a plane.
Silliness.

Exactly. We’ll just trust them with the rights guaranteed by the Constitution that are only available to actual citizens. To do otherwise is just plain bad manners. Or racism.

Why can't we be as level-headed as Canada? Trudeau explained the situation in about 6 minutes. Canada isn't saying no to all the people picking food (that we need) nor building the houses (that we need). Way to go Canadians for understanding basics.
