Interesting because I usually watch and enjoy his show but right now he's clearly a shadow of his usual self.
Not too easy to do a show out of your home when you usually have a live audience and a huge crew in a studio.
The thing you might want to give him some credit for during his wfh is how he's had people such as Fauci and Bill Gates WANT to be on his show - and he's done a fine job of speaking with them.

As far as asking who he is, I find him to be an interesting and intelligent person.
What little I do know about him I read about him years ago. I know he's from South Africa and he has a white father and a black mother - obviously "frowned upon" back in the 80s when he was born.
His stepfather beat him and shot his mother in the head. She survived.
He was an extremely popular comedian in South Africa and he's won an Emmy Award for the Daily Show.

Foreshadowing......
Show sucks. Unoriginal and repetitive.
You're entitled to your opinion and although I disagree, I respect it.
My opinion is you made an ignorant statement in terms of it being "unoriginal and repetitive".
Would it be wrong of my to say using your logic that ALL "talk shows" and "news" forums are unoriginal and repetitive?
I can’t think of many that I like. Louder with Crowder is one I listen to from time to time. They are all thinly-veiled propaganda, no matter what side they promote. I at least found Maher thoughtful at times. Noah could just say “Trump sucks” at the beginning of each show and be done with it.

Noah doesn't have to actually say Trump sucks.
All he has to do is play a daily soundbite and Trump speaks for himself in terms of how/why he sucks.

It would be more tolerable if he did. His accent annoys the crap out of me.

I just dont think he is funny at all. Clearly his show is supposed to be funny, it is not. He may be a fine person, dont know him, but i have no interest in his attempts at comedy.

I don’t watch for the humor. I like his Change my Mind segments where he sits down and (attempts) rational discussions with people who disagree with him. I don’t find him funny either. More obnoxious than anything.

I've never watched that movie, also, I'm never made fun of for watching that movie. Win/win.

I respect your opinion and I don't think he's been all that funny since he's been in his house - but I do feel he and his show are often funny.
There are plenty of other comedians that people find funny that I don't find to be funny.
To each their own.

DC and HD - It's almost as "gross" and "sad" as all the brainwashed people who are looking forward to Passover and Easter this week as an uplifting diversion - and their believing the bull-shit stories that those holidays evoke.
How's that for my adding a shitty disposition?

I'm sorry you feel that way, Gutter. My faith is about all that's keeping me anywhere near sane right now. I sincerely hope can find something meaningful to hold onto right now.

This stirred up my inner-Gutter. I agree with you. Gross. I won't watch it. But if it can bring a little joy to someone, more power to them.

More videos of celebrities showing me the underside of their chins on webcams from inside their mansions and people talking over each other because of delays in video streaming. That's almost better than a vaccine.

I hope they tell us all from inside their palacial homes overlooking oceans that we're all in this together and we'll get through this tough time while many are unemployed, or perhaps worse, still working in public.
