NO ONE should question nor deny Mahomes greatness but.....
I may be a moron but I feel 90% of NFL QBs would also do really well with Kelce, Watkins, Hill, Hardman, Robinson, Edwards-Helaire, to go along with Reid and Bieniemy.
The thought of a potential Mahomes injury scares the crap out of me but I believe the Chiefs would still be the best team in the NFL with Henne starting.

You are wrong.
Case in point, Cleveland.

"90% of NFL QBs would also do really well with Kelce, Watkins, Hill, Hardman, Robinson, Edwards-Helaire."
I'd argue that Cleveland's RB/WR/TE core ( and say what you want about Odell Beckham but I still think he's a top 5 WR in the NFL if he played with a good QB ) is as good if not better than KC's.
Odell = Tyreek ( see above )
Landry > Watkins
Kelce > Hooper ( but Hooper was a top 5 TE last season )
Chubb > CEH
Hunt > Hardman
Now i'm with you on Reid - he'd have those skill players ( Odell would be torching people again ) dominating under Mahomes - but if you think Henne could have gone into Baltimore last night and beaten the blitz and one of the best defenses in the league, I think you are wrong.

That's about the most well reasoned argument you've ever had on this bored here, PWhitt.
There are plenty of teams that are loaded at the skill positions, yet Mahomes takes it to an entirely different level.

Go read F the NCAA or VICK threads.
I dominated those.

Sneed out with a collarbone injury - let's hope it's not broken.
Chris Jones also got banged up last night.
@ Patriots down Breeland and Sneed - who are we playing, Armani Watts?

I would think that B-More would have an x-ray at the stadium so I doubt it is broken. Sprain is my guess. Probably similar injury and return timetable as Drew Lock. Fenton and Club Ward. You could move Ty to corner in an emergency situation. I would guess that BoPete will be active this week as well.
Jones 'strained' his groin but early returns are that it 'doesn't appear serious'. My guess is he is limited in a short week.

Have a tougher stretch than I expected with next three.
Pats - who have one of the greatest coaches of all time.
Vegas - 2-1 with a win versus the Saints.
@ Buffalo - might be the best team in the AFC East.

"Dominated," "got performatively huffy about being accused of something you weren't accused of," same thing.

That's fair - I do think the Pats are ( no conspiracy theories needed ) perpetual cheaters.
I still think Belichick is a mastermind, best able to fit average players into his system.

Yes, I think our bye is in a perfect spot.
I think we're 8-1 at the bye - with tough games @Tampa and New Orleans on the horizon.

Chiefs have 6 more games before bye..
Pats - W. Will be close for a while. Chiefs win by 10
Raiders - W. Raiders stink. Chiefs win by 14
@ Bills - W. Possible tossup. Thursday night game. Chiefs win by 4
@ Denver - W. Is Lock back? If so, it's closer, but they stink. Chiefs by 13
Jets - W. Is Gase still the coach? Chiefs by 23
Panthers - W. Good road win and young team with young coach. Chiefs by 16.

Both are not mutually exclusive. Belichick's mastermind status largely from bending the rules, and at times, stepping over those lines.

The comparison I made last night to a friend. Mahomes is Magic Johnson with a football in his hands. He does everything very well, but is also thinking one step ahead of everyone else on the field. He is a quick study. He makes everyone around him better. Two years ago the Pats threw everything they had at him and he got shook up for a half. Last night he burned Baltimore to the ground when they went after him.

All you need to stop Patrick is two ELITE pass rushers, a good push inside and then seven guys to cover the back end. That's it.
