plus/minus is a really garbage statistic there are just so many factors to it. but. I do like Enaranu a lot. hes had some good moments for us. I like him continuing to get minutes. he might have the highest upside of anyone on our team and he can help us out already. give him a chance to keep improving

This is a bad take and it's revisionist.
DMac making his shots doesn't mean the guards can't.
In fact, in theory, ( and in practice ), it will open the perimeter pressure.

I put like 99.8% of the blame on Bill Self. But, I’m less sure of how much the NCAA stuff has affected him.

It looks like a team that is playing after losing their best player to injury towards the end of the season.

Which is why Dave played less minutes. Self said in his presser this week that Garrett not getting to the paint was a lot because of how much better Udoka was than Dave is.

Braun and Wilson also combined for 19 more rebounds in that game. And that number was 20. If you're going to play 5 guards, the big ones can't team up for a single rebound.

We have multiple factors/excuses at play this season:

1. Funky season due to the fungus
2. We don't have great players
3. The league is a bear
4. The investigation is weighing on the program

Because of the fungus this is a good season to be down. It's a freebie. But the fungus ain't gonna be around forever. But is sure seems like that goshdarn investigation is going to be.
