Would you be on the Jury?
Re: Would you be on the Jury?
If I may ask, how am I dividing?
How am I the one keeping the hate flowing?
I hope to see justice served in what should be an open and shut case. Dunno how you get hate and division out of that.
Re: Would you be on the Jury?
OK that same hypo but now PhD’s a cop and the hemophiliac is a person of color.
PhD’s getting nothing more than paid leave out of it, unless something egregious like it was in broad daylight on video with bystanders pleading for him to not do it, and even then...

Re: Would you be on the Jury?
My bets on BLM, even if he gets manslaughter. Hopefully I'm wong.

I'm trying to use nicer language on here.

Re: Would you be on the Jury?
Multiple expert witnesses testify that Floyd died as a result of low or no oxygen in his body, caused by the pressure on his neck and chest.
They doubted the role of fentanyl in Floyd’s death, as they said even a healthy person would succumb to a lack of oxygen caused by force to the neck and chest.
The problem for the defense is that the prosecution does not need to prove the knee on Floyd’s neck was the “sole cause of death,” but instead that it was a “substantial factor.”

Re: Would you be on the Jury?
A forensic toxicologist also testified that the type of fentanyl found in Floyd’s system is not usually found in fatal overdose victims.
Re: Would you be on the Jury?
Forensic pathologist says Floyd’s death was caused by “low oxygen” caused by “subdual, restraint and compression.”
She ruled out overdose, because meth overdoses are sudden, and fentanyl overdoses are slow and peaceful, where they just fall asleep
(rather than plead that they can’t breathe and cry for their mother)

some people (not ousie) need reminders, lest their prejudices cloud their memory
Re: Would you be on the Jury?
Actually, I’ve been picking up on this for a long while now.
If you wanna accuse someone of living under a rock, talk to Chauvin’s defense, and the whole Blue Lives Matter movement.

Re: Would you be on the Jury?
Mich, what are your thoughts on the defense’s theory that Floyd died of overdose and Chauvin was just doing as he was trained?

Chief medical examiner says Floyd’s autopsy revealed no previous damage to his heart muscle
