That guy doesn't understand what qualifies as a rival. That's okay. Some here don't either.

It isn't just 1 sport. Schools are rivals. When womens volleyball plays/played Mizzou it was probably the biggest game of their year for players/fans. Same with football. Baseball. Etc.

Plenty of examples of that not being true.

It also doesn't mean it's not a rivalry if it is restricted to one sport. There are, of course, obvious regional and conference rivalries.

I think its possible to have more than 1 rival. Its reasonable to assume that, arguably, the top 2 teams in collegw basketball history have a bit of a rivalry based on their positions in the history of the sport.

Its not on the same level of rivalry hatred of KU Mizzou or Duke UNC or Bama Auburn or UW Oregon. Etc.

I do hate Kentucky though.

They don't view us like Louisville though. Hell, they don't even hate us as much as Duke.

We view Mizzou and KState similarly.
