Rank in FGA (disregarding Remy) in
bold above.
Between that, and not having the Preseason Big 12 POY, this would/will be one of the more egregious non-Bill Big 12 COY awards.

Good find.
And yes, totally.
I can't think of a better back-of-the-napkin test of whether a team is playing to its potential, at least offensively.
And it works the other way, too - pretty special season for Och obviously, and Braun is on a 2022-23 AA path...assuming...

Or Crimscores are a function of field goal attempts.

We'd better have at least 2 guys on the 1st team All B12 too.
There's the POY and then pick from Braun or Jalen.
Then Dave should make 3rd team averaging almost a double double in conference play.

I think Och is a lock for POY and, of course, first team. I think Braun is a lock for first team, also.
Jalen feels like second team to me, and Dave second team or honorable mention (is there third team?).
Dave will make second team if he rides his current crest for at least the Baylor game.

Certainly a correlation but no, I would not say a function of.
Just last year.

There is a third team.
Jalen is averaging 14 and 8 in conference play ( 7th in scoring, 3rd in rebounding ).
