Speaking of Robert Williams....

Series over. He will destroy the small Nets lineups. Going to cost me a decent parlay where I am likely to get every single other series result correct.

I can't believe he would be able to come back so quickly.
Also, there is a part of me that thinks the Nets will be worse, for these playoffs, if they bring in Simmons.

They'll be worse at certain things with simmons, but better at defense and rebounding immediately. And the Celts are cooking them right now. I thought for sure Nets would win this series simply due to Kyrie and KD....but their defense is getting abused because they are so small.

He is DUE. He just needs a little respect. The kind given to dudes who turn down dunks and miss free throws.

If they stick around next year, they are definitely better with him, but working him into a new team, after not playing for almost a year, against an unforgiving crowd, and a grumpy ass Durant and Kyrie?
I just don't see it working in April.

Simmons aside, because I am sort of in the "fuck ben simmons" camp, Robert Williams is fucking fun to watch play for the Celts. Had no idea he would be this good. The Celtics are good at drafting/developing players imo. Tatum Brown Smart Williams. Hell of a young core, although Smart is 28 so not very young.

They coulda been even better if not for bad luck.
Hayward's game one injury.
Kemba Walkers knees deteriorating.

Kemba is an interesting case where sometimes adding more talent doesn't always make the "team" better. Smart gives them something Kemba doesn't (or didn't), and Kemba needs(or rather needed) a lot of ball control which didn't mesh well with Tatum and Brown who are superior scorers imo.
Hayward, yes bad luck/timing.

Well the Celts were one of the best teams in basketball before Kemba got hurt. I think they had a 20 something game winning streak. Fans up here were loving it.

Easy group to cheer for. I have always been a big Kemba fan even back to his time at Uconn.

I did not think the Bucks would be favored tonight with Middleton out. But they are still -3.
I hope gutter buys you some chicago style and not that incredible NY style you're used to.

Casserole?
No thanks.
Gutter. Why are your Bools letting Grayson Allen do whatever he wants?

It's acquired taste. I like it once every year or so, if I am in Chicago and eating at the restaurant.
But definitely prefer crispy thin pizza. Unfortunately it's hard to come by good pizza in central IL. Thick, thin, or in between. We've got 1 or 2 decent places where I live, but nothing close to spectacular.
I want to do a new haven trip simply for pizza. And a NY trip for pizza and everything else food wise.

I've yet to meet a Chicagoan that reallllly likes Chicago style "pizza". Most are more like "yeah, it's fine".

Same.
But those places always seem fucking packed whenever I am in town. Has to be majority tourists if I had to guess.
I have a hard time going to eat pizza when I am in Chicago because there are so many other good restaurants with incredible food/views/ambiance.
